Hopefully by the time i get back from watching Bill Bailley in Leicester tomorrow, Beyond will be all ready to rock.
I have Wednesday off work, I plan on pew-pewing tharg scouts until i can pew-pew them no more and fall asleep.
Then waking up and deciding wether to stop saving for an anaconda and buy a chieftan, or keep going towards what will be my first large ship. Have 250m at mo so guess i need another 300-400m to get the ‘conda to half decent level...

I'm off Wed , back in on Thurs (although booked day off but not been granted yet), then I am off as its my long weekend and not back in till the following Wednesday.
Looking forward to exploring the new planet textures, and hopefully there may been some unannounced surprises.

Ed mentioned something about a live stream tomorrow to keep us amused while wait. Judging on past update servers usually go down about 10 and are up by 4. However, you also need to add on the usual spate of slow downloads, installation problems and the update taking longer at frontiers end.
Basically, if you can play tomorrow it's a bonus. Otherwise, do something more useful instead

In general I dont recommend taking days of for games. Its not like there is too much content, I'd only rush towards the point where I've seen it all again. Better to save the days for more urgent stuff and spread new content out. Just imho.

As I'v taken early retirement, I can amble around on Tuesday when the servers drop, doing other stuff, while waiting for the Live stream (hopefully) to start & laugh at all the '...are we there yet?...' posters on the forum until the update finally kicks in.
