Is it save to fuel scope in an Icarus paint job?

Or will it just melt due to proximity to the star?

Reportedly, paint jobs have no effect on the game as such, they are merely decoration. Unless, of course, FDev is throwing a curveball with the Icarus paint jobs.

Paintjobs don't impact game play, but are affected by game-play - they get scratched and wear out.

I would be a lovely enhancement if paints bubbled, dripped, and burned off if the craft was too close to the sun. Icarus or no Icarus.

Although I would be the first to say it is probably not near their top 6000 things to do next...

It's nice to see paintjobs using more than three colors.

There, I found something positive to say about these.. other than I'm positive I wouldn't paint someone else's Corvette in them.

I am almost positive that these paint jobs have a high-wax content. I would avoid it or carry hull repair limpets!

I wonder how many of the younger generation will get this reference without having to google? From what I am told the classics are no longer taught and unless it is a plot of a video game kids don't seek out books that contain these kinds of classics.

I don't know about fuel scooping, but I'm sure as hell that this paintjob would look like a pile of dung when used with ship kit.

(Ship kits cannot have more than one color)

Hehe, I think they look great especially the black and white one. Really happy to see more complicated patterns. Might even encourage me to take my Corvette out of storage.
