Elite Dangerous livestreams each have a theme, which is (mostly) kept to. This one was about the new thargoid information that can be found at Thargoid Structures.
As usual, off topic questions in the chat weren't answered, as they detract from the point of the stream.

B - We know what went wrong - deviations in the random mission generation created unforeseen effects that weren't caught in beta/QA. What other explanation would make you happy? Do you think there were there monkeys? Some terrifying space monkeys maybe got loose?
Look, the bugs suck. In the first case it was clearly the algorithm going mad, and in the latter someone forgot to tag reward materials as purchased rather than mined. What exactly do you want them to say? Or should they just spend the hour begging for forgiveness?

I am simply making the point that FDev could have taken the trouble to answer some of the nerf, C&P questions that people were raising in the chat. No need to get so wound up you know.
Maybe if they were to respond in the forum, such observation would not be necessary. Also, for the information of yourself and others, I love this game but, like so many, I am truly sad to see what FDev are doing to it; nothing more.

They have answered though, in the forums. I don't understand what the issue is. We know its being worked on and some will be here in the next patch. What else is there it know?
And it's not like the game is unplayable due to these minor (and yes they are minor) issues.

You're right. It isn't unplayable. It just seems odd that every patch seems to cause more problems than it solves. I accept your point though.

Precisely, if they'd had the Mission Developers on the Livestream, then OP might be half way towards having a point.....which would definitely be a first for him. He's more pointless than a drawer full of broken pencils.

@Ian, has the question/topic/whatever not been answered - FDEV spoke about it on the forums and the stream had a specific topic that was being discussed?
