Yeah, some of us more than others.
Robert has been known to post once or twice about the modes for instance.
I dunno.... the appeal process on bans as far as I can tell goes completely ignored. Attempts to find out why or discuss your point is met with the infamous BrettC Wall-O-Text on forum rules-regs with the general offending category in BOLD with no reply.
The mods seem to free reign on their personal interpretation on those rules.... that or in the process of becoming a moderator their sense of humor is ripped out.
Just my personal experience..... I still don't know what a TJ is..

Ahh we had a kid like that at our school
and Yes I never got a gold star and yes I felt the ban hammer at school but it was no way near as bad as the MAM HAMMER that followed soon as she got me homeAhh we had a kid like that at our school

I don't think they do. Many (all?) had users accounts before they became mods and can turn the mod flare on and off with their post... I think. Maybe they create and nurture new accounts just for trolling when they're feeling rebellious. In fact I imagine each has a pro- and anti-Mobius account just so they an moderate themselves!

Mostly these days I do me best to avoid the mods entirely...they start commenting, I stop. What can I say? 3 months on probabation allowed me to see the mods in a whole new way...now they just the forum police and as in real life, I dont get along with the police too great.
They have a job to do...I used to be a mod in other games so I know exactly what it involves...its not a job I would ever do again because I wasnt allowed to speak me mind...havent done it since and never will again because of that.
Fair play to them though, they have their jobs to do and Ill stay more or less within the rules now...ship naming is still a sticking point with half the names I use censored...those being the names Ive always used in similar games, I refuse to change them or go to FD with my begging bowl. I can see the names even if nobody else can...and thats enough to keep me happy and most importantly, quiet.
Its fair to say I have a very contrary nature and deep issues with any form or authority...I dont react well to those who tell me what to do, never have and never will which is why its probably best to just avoid the mods entirely. We will never be friends although I do silently respect what they do and fer a large part respect their rules even if I dont agree with them.
Thats just the way it is with me and Im not gonna change...I speak me mind and dont normally care if it offends some little snowflake in real life...why would I care in a game?

I can't speak for the other mods, but when i was a mod i only really had 1 account. I did have a second account for a while but that was for RP purposes only.
I did have a habit of being rather blunt with my mod account at times, which might have contributed to my not being a mod now
I don't have any other accounts either. Still feel I can express my opinion and feelings within the rules.
