Most of my ships are named after, or inspired by, Sega Mega Drive games, particularly sci-fi shooters. So I may still stick with the retro theme. (Even Cosmic Spacehead is a mega drive game... But I don't even remember what it was about!)
The name will either be awesome, or just ridiculous.

Glad text goes down well with most people, saves me a job of recording between washing machine spins and my cat howling for dinner. And then of course the pain of having to listen to my own voice over and over while I edit. :D

Anyway, my next video is my A rated Eagle, back in the haz res...
The one after that will likely be something to do with Decait, probably in open, gathering materials for down mods, and probably crashing in to stuff. Or being shot down. Or attempting to shoot down other players, while having no clue on if I can or not.
If I'm lucky, they'll be an AFK Anaconda CMDR above the Farseer again, outside of the NFZ, so I can finally find out what happens if shoot out it's engines....

After that... Who knows!

How about Parodius for a name? That was a sega sci-fi shooter. And I guess that would fit the tone of your video ;)

Might be on to a winner there!

Part 2 is almost done. It's 10 minutes long, but I think it has a bit more content.
Also experimented with some more effects, and getting the hang of transitions.

And I think I fixed the typos this time. I think. Lol

Part 3 began filming, buuuuut I ran in to an unexpected problem... You'll find that out in the video. :D

I watched it, when your ship shut down I laughed ;) The period after where you were setting your power priorities was good, but a little long & interrupted the pace a bit, nothing major though.

I'll confess I was a little disappointed that you died again at the end, I had hoped you would win out eventually.

Yeah that power bit was supposed to be cut out, but during one of my [many] CTDs (due to the turbo section) I think it snuck back in. Or it undid it by accident. Lol
But most of that section was supposed to be cut out with the message screen instead.

I was quite shocked I died too to be honest, but as soon as the Anaconda got its shields up, and killed my "helpers", I wasnt going to take it down again. So I just carried on. :D

Glad it's providing some entertainment value atleast. My editing is improving!
And I shall avoid speeding up videos by 5000% in the future. :D

I'm going to try and get a good recording of that, then i just need to figure out had to add a doppler effect. :D

Although, sometimes my cat howls as she runs past me, so that might work too. Lol


Part 3 is currently on hold due to snow.

Because apparently everything must stop due to snow...
(The truth is, I'm at work in the snow) :p

With 26% in powerplant, that anaconda sure had a lot of power... Good fight though. I think I would have stayed in the asteroid field to try and lure him against bigger foe to drop the aggro.

But I have a question for anyone who cares..

Should I go back and remaster part 1&2, before doing part 4? (Which maybe part part 3.1, because part 3 is getting longer and longer, and my internoots can't cope!)

I've learned a lot about editing in the last week, and well, part 1&2 are embarrassing to watch now. :D

Up to you. What do other youtubers do? If you look back through the history of a now popular youtuber their early work is usually not as polished.

Don't worry about earlier work not being as good as it would be if you were to re-do it now, instead apply a minimum quality standard, if any work falls below that then re-do it, or don't release it until you are happy with it.

Having grown bored of flying a semi invincible Anaconda, Cosmic tries something new, well technically old, flying a stock Eagle.

Forgive the rather "skittish" fast forward sequence, it turns out if you compress a few minutes video in to just a few seconds, my PC goes mental, so I wasn't actually able to edit that part of the video much, and trying often just crashed my PC... Lol

Meh!

Lightworks is giving me a headache... I think it just deleted episode 3, just as I was about to export it...

And now it's CTD'ing on launch!

I don't want to have to make episode 3 from scratch... :(
