Farming exploits?

Hello everyone. I know I will get hate for this but I am sick and tired of farming for hours and hours a day. It is very repetitive and boring for me. I was wondering has anyone discovered any new money exploits after the skimmer missions were banned.

Yeah go to a extraction economy and pick up delivery missions. Some will give you ~10 million.

I have small ships and big ships. I like racing and fighting in my iCourrier, fight thargoids in my anaconda, pirate in my clipper, mine in my T9, and steal in my DBS.

I like variety and challenges.

All of this costs a crapton of credits. It not about big ships/small ships. It about not being gated out of fun stuff by a lack of credits. And since in ED the more boring and repetitive a task is, the more it pays, being in need of credits create a perverse invective to engage in boring and repetitive loops. In contrast risking a 20M rebuys ship in a thargoid fight nets you 2M, not factoring repairs.

Why is there no 20 or 30M solo assassinations mission with difficulty 6 ? Or other such high risk high reward gameplay ? Would there be a problem with it ?

Normal missions don't cut it for you without using "exploits"? How much is enough? Yesterday I made 22 millions in fourty minutes just with stacked sightseeing missions in my Orca. Maybe today I'll earn one million per jump at a trade CG. So many ways to earn decent credits...

Best way I found to get the credits i needed was to open up the command console in game CTRL+ALT+LSHIFT+~ and enter the following

!76=JFFEE

You should get some output, check that the 2nd line shows all zeroes.

Now enter in Hex the credit balance you want eg. 1,000,000 is F4240 do not type anything else and then hit carriage return

Exit the command console CTRL+ALT+RSHIFT+~ exit game and restart

Voila you are a millionaire/billionaire/trillionaire!

I made hundreds of millions going to Beagle Point. It must be an exploit as all I did was fly the ship there and back. Might have scanned a couple of things on the way.
Give it a go before Fdev hear about it.

I've found a couple of ways to get loads of money, but I know you're just a stooge for FD, whos too lazy to do his research. Do you think we're so stupid as to give up our secrets so that you can weild the nerf hammer again? Try reading the story about the little boy that cried "wolf".

To be clear I think that the exploit payout levels are silly. I also so think that the only way to make good credits is via mission stacking.

Why can't we do good money without haulage/passenger mission stacking?

I'm just arguing for a better balance of payouts across activities.

I think some people would be surprised to discover how much money they have after a month or so of just playing the game and varying activities and obsessing over cr or mats.

I think some people's heads would absolutely explode if they ever caught on that third party tools are in no way required or critical resources.

I've unlocked nearly all engineers, have over $1.5bn in assets, two anacondas, one of which is fully combat engineered, and FDL, DBx, FAS, and FDS, all fully engineered (except for pack hounds) and somehow, have almost always already had required mats (with new levels, I tend to think that it will become highly unlikely that I need something that I don't already have), the ships I want, and plenty to cover many rebuys, all without third party tools or having to seek out some latest exploit or grind.

Weird.

Yeah and post them.here and give them a target to the Nerf gun
Sigh... It is a Nerf BAT, you plebian. lol.

That's sad, man. There is no end game, no win and no fun beyond the journey, except the journey itself. If you skip the journey by grind, there will be nothing left for you to do, except salty comments on the forum...
This is the reason I avoid all money exploits. I earned my 2.6 billion in assets the hard way, and I'm damn proud of it.

I'm proud to say that in my 3+ years of playing this game, I have never resorted to exploits or farming to earn my CR.

Just by playing the game and choosing the most lucrative legit mission options, I am currently sitting on over 5.8 Billion CR in liquid assets. That is after fully A rating 10 ships.

It can be done without grinding yourself into burn out. You just need to avoid the Veruca Salt approach to playing ED.

All of this costs a crapton of credits.

- racing and fighting in my iCourrier: it only costs if you die because of the rebuy.
- fight thargoids in my anaconda: you get paid more than the repair, so it only costs if you die because of the rebuy.
- pirate in my clipper: limpets and repair, still cheaper than what you steal.
- mine in my T9: it is so expensive? I thought you earn credits while mining, it only costs if you die because of the rebuy.
- and steal in my DBS: isn't that piracy as well? I assume the same, don't die.

You should try to stop dying that much and you will be able to do all those activities without costing that crapton of credits.

I don't care if there's a way to earn billions in few time. I am just saying if you found a way, it's stupid to post here. When I was new to the game there where those passenger"exploit" , I never heard about then , even didn't know about FDEV mechanics or the forum itself. Ingot 3 passenger missions to the same place and earned about 100 mill. It was awesome, and I did the stupid thing of posting it. But by then I wasn't aware of the Nerf gun

I can only suppose that my non-native broken english is causing you reading troubles.

So I'll try to be crystal clear to avoid language missunderstandings :
  • Exploits give silly money. FD should do more quality control and monkey input testing.
  • Most activities payouts seems to follow this rule : the less risk, the more money. Maybe tying the reward to the risk would be better and less immersion breaking.
  • Payouts vary immensly accross activities and professions : easily a factor of 10. FD should ensure that this is not the case and that every thing falls in the same ballpark.
  • Easy access to money means easy access to fun gameplay by allowing access to the dedicated ships.

Case in point : hauling biowaste rewards the player more than killing thargoids, yet one is a zero risk activity and the other one is a very risky one.
Does it make sense to you ? If so why ?

Easy tasks are mastered quickly, and so become less interesting quickly. If low skill tasks are the most rewarding, the game is essentially nudging players
to 1) not improve 2) get bored for fast money if they percieve money as an obstacle to gameplay (a valid PoV)

Large ls deliveries/passenger missions ala Smeaton were the epitome of this : rain money over the player for litterally doing nothing during 30min.

Put it this way...if I did know any naughty little gold rushes, this forum is the last place on the planet I’d tell anyone about it on.

I mean that absolutely...sorry ^

I still read the same, I'm sorry, but saying now that 'hauling biowaste' has no risk vs killing thargoids etc.. yeah, whatever, paint it blue, billions of credits for racing, killing goids, pirating in a clipper or a DBS, you have to be very bad at it if you need that much crapton of credits, seriously.

I don't know why you're playing the game tbh - for credits, to do what with?

Also, what you're playing IS the game just on a slower pace if you don't farm. Maybe find a new game?
