General / Off-Topic Epic trip to the UK

From what I gather reading this thread, moderators seem to really like beer. I mean really like beer. Frankly, I am a bit concerned about your healths. Please consider a more healthy lifestyle that includes better nutrition and physical exercise involving more than walking to your favorite pub.

I know this post will be met with not much enthusiasm, but well, I kind of like you people.

No, I am not gay. I am female.

No, I don't like you in that way either. [Heaven knows what beer does to a Commander's physique. :) ]

Live long, ever so slightly tipsy, but overall very healthful.

xoxo

I wish I was English like my hero Tj.

Have you *read* the forums lately? ;)

No worries, though. I like a good beer or wine, but I'm hardly an alcoholic (despite TJ's best efforts).

Your concern for our health is really nice and you're correct we do love a pint on occasion if you've been to any Elite Event you'll be sure to find us at the bar.

Poor Jenner & Mrs Jenner in the 2 days they stayed with me were plied with drink (And food) at every opportunity.

From my hazy memory...

Beers tried that I can remember. Most were more than one pint.....

Theakston's Old Peculiar
Sharpes Atlantic
Sirius Dog Star (I think)
Golden Jackel (Again I think)
Fat Cat bitter
Fat Cat Honey beer
Fat Cat Stout
Chalk Hill Brewery Bitter
Chalk Hill Gold
Moongazer

Other Drinks

Sambuca
Yagerbombs
French Merlot
Spanish Rioja (2008 to celebrate their 10th anniversary)
Glen Moray
White Port
Dark Fruit Cider
Aspalls Cider
Carlsberg Lager

@jenner can you remember any of the others?

Strongbow Dark Fruit Cider -jenner :)

I think I let him off quite lightly tbh it was only a couple of days...(and Mrs J is the boss... matched us pint for pint and would probably drank us both under the table with no sweat)

I think beer and alcohol in general, connected with moderators; is self explanatory.

I think I'll keep the photos private. As much as I love ya guys, I'll keep a bit of privacy re: personal photos on the forum. :)

You don't wanna see my ugly mug anyway, trust me. :D

What?!?!?!

The Yaffles are far more restrained, Jenner only tried:

Three Tuns (UK's oldest licenced brewer, beating Shepherd Neame by about 50 years) - Cleric's Cure, Stout and Rantipole.
Wye Valley HPA

In a mere two pubs - The Bridges at Rattlinghope, and the Kings Head in Bridgnorth.

Also there was some wine and some gin.

Jenner did survive my cooking too, which is quite a surprise.
