My Life under 3.0.3 - Anyone else?

I did, now I use port forwarding. More stable for me.

Only thing if you change settings, the on screen option to turn on forwarding didn't write to the config file correctly. I had to manually edit the config .XML file to turn of upnp

My firewall doesn't like npnp as the port number you are on changes. With it is off you are fixed on a specified port.
Added a rule to firewall to point the port to my PC.... done stable ever since

I know its a bit old fashioned

I suspect I'll have to resort to using port forwarding, as it seems to be the catchall for any network related issues with this game.

Its not the AWS servers, its your ISP's connection to them.
The only thing folks should change on their modems is the password.

AWS runs as a ring, so traffic is dynamic to different network elements. Latency is not the problem.

No one should need to turn off uPnP or port forward.

For me,
The crash from galaxy map ctd seems to be gone. That's the only major glitch I saw.
I am having zilch problems except the lack of time to play.

That, and those strange bronie Cmdrs boozing it up all day long.

I'm not having anything like that on my end, and I don't have the best connection in the world either. (20meg down 1 meg up DSL)

I have fttn (fiber to node) then copper pair VDSL to house.
35 up 10 down.

the connect speed doesn't matter, the game can be played hotspotted to a phone on a lap top.

Librarian's problem isn't speed, its net stabilty somewhere. Unless he's in Russia or Macedonia etc.

UK, all network settings on default (which has been the case since pre-launch days).

ISP speed/latency not an issue:-

Ive never seen that and I run a lotta missions...on average a full journal of 20 every day. Not saying it doesnt exist as it cle3arly does...just that I havent personally havent come across this as yet ^

Thats cool looking

It could be load as you said Lib, AWS ramps slowly. Sundays have always been the busiest day as well.

I just ctd from the galaxy map. If I set my graphics to Ultra before I run the game, it fixes it. :O

So, I logged a ticket around the same time I opened this thread, and the mission board load time is now under 3 seconds in the same system/starport I was suffering in earlier.

Maybe somebody stuffed some more 50p pieces into the meter in AWS Dublin.

Carry on, nothing to see here.
