3rd party tools. What do you use?

Voice Attack with EDDI, and EDMC (until EDDI starts sending data directly to Inara), and then EDSM, EDDB, ED Plotter, and ED Bearing.

None.

I may use EDDB.io, coriolis, or inara to look up something while away from home, but that’s about it. The game is easy enough as it is.

EDdiscovery when playing generally.
EDengineer when mat farming/engineering ships.
I used to use Coriolis, but it doesn't seem to have been updated to reflect the new engineering or Chieftain, so I've been using the updated EDshipyard recently for ship builds and loadouts.
Inara for the engineer blueprints.
EDDB.io for general station and system info.
EDSM when I'm exploring to decide on nice things to see and to track my journey.

EDDiscovery, OBS, VA, Inara, Coriolis, Eddb, Paint.Net, Imgur, Camtasia 9, YouTube, Discord, EDBearing, OneNote, Notepad++. Think that's most of it.

None, not even a pen & paper. If I come across an interesting nebula or known star I'll google it, learn about the real thing.

There is a tendency for deliberately challenging game mechanics (like where to buy a commodity) to be made trivial by following the path of others, resulting in complaints that the game is too easy.

I prefer to try to work things out for myself. Sometimes that means I don't get the best trade deal, or max out on mission potential, or use the optimal loadout for a given task. But it does mean I'll never run out of stuff to find ;)

I am interested in using EDDI to import ship data to Coriolis. Does anyone else? How easy is it to set up? What other 3rd party apps are recommended?

EDMC with the cannon plugin for connection to inara, the cannon and eddn, additionally eddiscovery (even if it eats a LOT of memory) to snychronize to edsm and to get a good view to my logs.

I can recommand these two :)
Coriolis is atm not really usefull for the ships because it was already in 2.4 outdated or some numbers wrong. In 3.0 it is more outdated and the specials get not imported too (maybe coriolis but maybe missing in the logs?).
However...if importing the numbers manually than it is still very helpfully

I use Joystick Curves (for giving me a smoother response on the T.Flight HOTAS).

I use Voice Attack in combination with ED Toolbox to tell me about the local system (and how many times, if ever, I've been there), to swear at me if it's Federal, to tell me about the nearest station and to read out Galnet news articles to me (even tho' we now have Galnet audio I prefer the voice it uses, like that it doesn't pause itself every 10 seconds while jumping and like that I can skip to next article at the press of a key).

I use eddb when I want to know general stuff about systems and commodities.

I use Inara or ED Board for basic engineer info (like at-a-glance who does what modules).

I sometimes use Coriolis for ship builds.

I use IRC Cloud on the iPad for Fuel Rat comm's.

I use Elite Dangerous Astrometrics for turning my log files into galactic travel videos.

And I use nvidia Shadowplay for video capture and Movie Maker for video editing.

Think that's about it. There's a whole bunch of other tools (many mentioned in this thread) that I've been meaning to try but I'm always too busy playing Elite to find the time to install them.
