As is customary when I start weeping for FAS pj's I will now plug the below images as examples for Fed brick paintjobs done right!

Wow these are amazing. Insta-buy from me if released. Stunning. 4 of the bottom set really stand out.
I don't find it all that shocking really. A lot of people would just go solid black and never buy a thing. Plenty of games make black some sort of premium rare thing as is. They know what they're doing.

For me the next question is when do I get to put a rad spoiler on my T-9 Deluxe Space Cow? Becaues the new Type-9 Heavy has risen from the dead to be prince among ships, surely it must be getting its own Ship Kit some point soon?

Frontier, I want to give you more money ... but you're not getting my money for this nonsense. I asked for a ship kit which would remove the spoiler. All you had to do was remove something and I'd pay you!

As for the ship kit [yesnod]
This has nothing to do with "lootboxing". Loot boxes have a gambling element to them, their contents aren't known until after you pay.
I dunno.
Given the "paintjob roulette" that often accompanies fitting a ship-kit, there's an element of gambling involved.
For all the people who keep asking about removing the spoiler: it won't happen.
Not because I think it shouldn't (but FWIW I do like the spoiler), but because there are 2 utility mounts on the spoiler. A cosmetic kit is not going to add/remove slots. If that starts happening, we start getting into pay to win territory.. Is that what you want? To pay 10 bucks for extra utility slots? or 20 bucks for an extra internal? Let's not encourage it..
