Yep, Winter is great, bring on the snow, better than nettles and brambles.

Out every day in the Beast from the East :)

We've had an enormous amount of snow here in Sweden (up to 1.5 meters in mid Sweden). And down in the south where I live we've had around half a meter or so. It gets extremely impractical with lots of snow. But it does get brighter. That's a big plus. :)

I like the landscapes with snow, a deep blue sky and a bright sun

yeah it's wonderful....... -_-

If there were 1.5 meters of snowfall in the central US, when it melted, the major rivers would be running from bluff to bluff, just like the end of the glacial periods...

And, I would need a Subnautica scooter to get around. :(

Hehe yeah. The amount of snow has caused a lot of flooding due to the hot weather in May and people has actually taken boats and canoes to work where there was 1.5 meters of snow.

Some benefits though:

:)

From the Siberian summer Olympics. :D

Oh.....damn......
That water is like, the most clear water I've ever seen.

It was pouring rain and dark skies an hour or so before that pic was shot.

[big grin]

It's just shy of a mile to that island on the left.

Ok now I'm officially jealous. :D
Sorry for asking, but where is this?

Somewhere in the Pacific, possibly also somewhere in the Caribbean. Wherever, you probably are not far from the equator :)

For my money i love the summer, days on the beach, walks in the forests. It's a great time to get out and experience the benefits of the great outdoors.
