Looking for 25 truckers to help repair an attacked station.

Whoops, finally managed to hit another ship while leaving the station. Flew all the way back and docked but it won't let me pay off the fine and I can't sell my cargo. I've been looking in the gal map for a low security system with large pad but not having any luck so far. Either way, it looks like I wasted the trip to the station since I have to leave in order to pay the fine then fly all the way back.

Hooray for the new crime and punishment system.

OK, I was able to pay off the fine at another station in the system. Phew, panic over! All because the contacts tab is unavailable in the damaged station. Makes sense now.

I had that very same issue yesterday. The station roughly 400Ls away....starts with an M..... was just the ticket. They took my payment quite nicely and let me be back on my merry way.

4536t of Superconductors - parking up for the night.

100T of superconductors (22:30 18/05)

4536 fabulous superconductors.

Done for the day! Another 10,920t of superconductors delivered!

Will do: Just on my last run for tonight now, which should be make 3000 tons of superconductors counting everything so far. [up]

Thank you for your contributions!

We now only require 39 618 Superconductors. (
69.80% done)
We should be done in a day or two.

We will soon be done with our fourth objective that requires 100K of commodities to be shipped!

There are only two other commodities that are above 100K. Gallium and Beryllium, which is about 200K.

As a reward for working so hard in making this happen, we will be shipping one of the easier commodities to ship because you can purchase these commodities in system at Magnus Dock.

  • Computer Components
  • Water Purifiers

We're not starting on them yet!

I'll be adding them to the OP table today.

CMDR Viscera! You might be able to benefit more from trucking Computer Components and Water Purifiers first because of how quick the runs are. How do you feel about that? It'll be a different challenge as you can't point your ship in one direction and walk off. Feel free to ignore me if you like the commute. ^^.

Edit: Korobei what is the capacity of your type 9? Might you know how many runs you've made?

I started on water purifier runs figuring my return would be a little better as i could fit a few more runs in the time it takes.

After a couple of runs, I decided I would upgrade/downgrade (perspective) my Chieftain for a T7.

Cargo capacity is still not awesome, but will now put more of a dent in the numbers. Now running at 276T capacity rather than 100T.

So far today I have now made:

1304T Water Purifiers

I am about for the next few days, what do you need and where?

Superconductors currently, SPOCS 253, Sturckow Port. Read the spreadsheet in the OP.

Nice! I've added this to the sheet.

Four more runs:

1104T of Water purifiers

Plus one long trip to see what profit was like on superconductors. It was good....

So I haven't been on Elite in a while, so thought to check the forums to see if there was anything new to do, and stumble across this.

I'm on Xbox, gamertag Mrat13. If people want to fly with me on this, I've got a Type 9 ready to go.

208T of superconductors delivered.

Only 1456 tons of superconductors today, had to spend some time back in the 21st century.

Add 3008T more Superconductors to the pot.

Fly Safe Commanders.

8272t of superconductors today...

Four more runs:

1104T of Water purifiers

276T of Superconductors

All recorded!

Viscera, I was wondering is it better to ship superconductors or water purifiers/computer components per hour? (curious)
Also i saw you join the discord.

So a few days ago I created these titles. Not to diminism anyone's contributions but just as a little bit of fun. All our contribution matters and it's the average amount that we all contribute together.
These tiers are for folks who's handed in a certain amount of commodities.

Godlike Trucker 50 000
Monster Trucker32 000
Super Trucker20 000
Hutton Trucker12 960 (if you cover reach this mark in a 720 cutter, you'll have travelled the distance to hutton) (Or 18 runs)
Ultra Trucker6 000
Cool Trucker3 500
Long Haul Trucker2 000
Veteran Trucker1 000
Trucker1

On average, if we were to add the total commodities we needed to bring and divided it by the number of registered truckers, each person would need to deliver 34079 units of commodities or make 48 runs. (in a 720 Cutter/T9)

No one expects every single person who contributes to reach 34k. What instead will happen is that some folks will contribute more than the average, balancing it to reach that average.
Also the average will go down as more folks join to haul commodities.

Today our first Monster Trucker who reached that average is ColonelJack71. Congratulations! There will be more folks that follow in the coming weeks.

If you're like to know your title, you can read it find it here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15-DcjOppH9ThhKLt04TkyIEIVt2HaaXCdlWL_grpERA/edit#gid=0

Also, for the truckers with a smaller cargo cap, and therefore lower profits - check the mission boards before you dump your cargo. There may be Supply missions that you can fulfil for a bit more profit, and it won't really affect the amount delivered in any meaningful way as the largest request is for 9t. Once you reach Allied with some of the factions these missions can be worth 10-20k per ton. Also a nice way to work on Fed rank if that's your thing.

Don't take the missons before you get there, or you may be getting jumped for 400kly!

Oh this is a neat idea. Does it count towards station repair though if you do these missions?

I don't know, but the quantities are small - 5 - 9t per mission - It really won't make that much of a difference either way and it might make a big difference to those with smaller ships/balances.

That's interesting that you compare this run to the Hutton run. During the Hutton Mug CG I made that run 26 times in my Python delivering 7072T of Scrap.

Lots of household chores got done during that CG! :D

Good times. For The Mug!

With a full load of water purifiers I make roughly 110000 profit.

With a full load of superconductord I make roughly 440000 profit.

The long haul for the big money items edges it per hour if it was purely based on making money.

There should also be a slightly better return on the computer components looking at the numbers.

Fortunatly I am not doing it for the money, so it does not overly concern me. Cash is made at a fairly steady pace I find, and only ever increases. I do not need enormous amounts for my usual playstyle.
I have also developed quite some respect for the T7, and am enjoying my time piloting it.
The cockpit is also quite a good one and does not feature any particularly distracting lights, window bars that flash as they catch the starlight or other small irritations, which is also important to me.
