PvP viable vulture build ?

Hi everyone, recently i noticed that with the new engineers, a lot more loadouts for the vulture have become (at least on paper) viable options
Most of my pvp experience is on a non-engineered Vulture , some months before the 3.0 update, and i`ve been wanting to rebuy it and do some mods on it
so...

Could this be a good build ? https://eddp.co/u/fKNmgP3l

Is the low emissions PP + Target lock breaker PA worth it ?

Does this really make my ship harder to lock on?

or should i just stick with a Armoured power plant + Super Conduits power distributor + slightly stronger shields + target lock breaker PA? https://eddp.co/u/FPJ1Sx3r

anything you guys know would be very helpfull since i dont have enough mats to mod the ship twice

Thanks and fly safe !

ps: sorry for broken english, its not my native language , etc etc

I would stick with the armored power plant. I doubt anyone will have trouble seeing you anyway, especially since you will probably want to stay close to hit anything with those slow-moving projectiles.

The Vulture runs low on power, so you'll probably want an overcharged PP.
Thermal resistant shield gen is pretty standard for bi-weaves, you could add the lo-draw special, or fast recharge if you can spare the power/capacitor.

TLB on PAs is really good, some people even complain it's OP.
Low emissions PP is less than ideal for most Vulture builds.
The low emissions PP won't really help you stay off target lock since once you start firing at an enemy you are auto-resolved, however TLB does break it immediately.
Enhanced low power shields are usually on explorers.
People also generally go for the charge enhanced/super capacitors PD.

You should get a little more hull going with HD/deep on the reactive armor and thermal/deep on one HRP.

Here's my current build.

The Replicated Man

T
Vulture
Reactive Surface Armor - Grade 5 Heavy duty with Deep Plating
4A Grade 5 Overcharged Plant - Monstered Secondary
Charged Enhanced Distro Grade 5 with Super Capacitors secondary
Grade 5 Dirty Drives with Drag Drives Secondary
4D Lightweight Sensors and Life Support
4 Ton Fuel Tank

5A Shield Cell Bank x2
4A Prismatic Shield Generator with Grade 5 Reinforced mod/ Lo Draw Secondary
2D HRP - Grade 5 Thermal Resistance with Reflective Plating Secondary
1D MRP
1A FSD Interdictor

3 A Rated Shield Boosters
1 Grade 5 Thermal Resist with Lo Draw Secondary
2 Grade 5 Heavy Duty with Super Capacitors Secondary
1 High Capacity Heat Sink (4)

2x Class 3 Plasma Accelerators
Grade 5 Efficient
1 Target Lock Breaker
1 Dispersal Field.

Total Shield Health - 1445mj 45% Kinetic 29% Thermal 58% Explosive
1000 Armor with 40% resistance to everything
551-555 boost

You will double bank with the Heat Sink. Also when deploying hardpoints you will have to turn off the INTERDICTOR, CARGO HATCH & FSD.
This enables you to run everything and keep the bank's ON. Once the bank's are depleted, shut them off and your FSD will come back on.

I have successfully beaten multiple HD stacked FDL's with this build. It is amazing in wing fights. A hard counter to it is a FAST REGEN Bi-Weave FDL.

I have a HRP bucket similar to the OP's. Armored PP manages to power everything up even when I fit a proper FSD. It also helps a lot with curing that module malfunction syndrome.

Sure, for a shielded monster like yours or Replicant's, no choice but overcharged.

Sure, thus "probably".

I didn't suggest any specific changes to the build because there is a lot to work on and every change has consequences.

That said the Vulture does run fairly tight on power, vs most of the lineup.
I was running something like this before, and as you can see armored/monstered won't quite cut it.
It almost needs to go kinetic for armored.

If you overcharge the plant up to G5 and monster it, your hard ceiling for usable power will be 24 MW. Any power draw higher will be difficult to resolve. And Replicant's build works pretty ' good. (speaking from experience building/using it)
