Why, in any logical thought process, would a WING mission be tuned for a solo player? It’s a mission type meant for a wing, which is made up of multiple players. This is by definition not a solo activity.
I honestly question if posts like this are oblivious to their absurdity or just simply trolling.
Why do wing missions, which are not intended to be done solo, show up at all in the Solo mode of the game?
In any logical thought Frontier would not create content solely for multiplayer but would design said content to accommodate ALL players, both solo and multiplayer alike. This could easily be accomplished by converting wing missions into shareable missions, designed to either be flown solo or in groups. Have one lump sum reward for completing the mission, and if you manage to do it solo then you get it all, or in a wing the reward simply gets divided up, possibly with a bit of a bonus to sweeten the pot.
As a mostly solo player, the exclusivity of much of Frontier’s development, including wing missions, bothers me.
You are correct though, I do expect too much, and my frustration is more due to me expecting more from Frontier than they are apparently capable of. My bad.
