Where is the paid 'content' LEP holder get for 'free'

(It will be Space Legs, Atmospheric Worlds and all the other good stuff the LEP sales page talks about)

They've been making promises for years now. What do LEP holders have to show for it? Horizons.... Which can be bought for half to a quarter of what the LEP cost.... What's the word for when you buy something and the seller doesn't deliver? Starts with 'S', rhymes with 'Cam'....

Not true. LEP holders get all future paid expansions included in the price they have already paid. They will not have to pay for updates such as Space Legs etc.

There won't be any more paid expansions, they didn't sell well. The expansions are now free and they make their money off cosmetics, which sell really well.

With that being said, I can't actually see that happening before the end of 2018 - I would have expected some kind of marketing to have kicked in by now.

Remember that "Premium content" also has to be sold to the players without a LEP. Hype needs to be built at some point.

You are free to believe whatever you want, but, personally I choose to believe that more "Premium" content IS coming and I am looking forward to it.

From what I remember, any 'Exclusives' based of of Pre-purchase/pre-order stuff will also be given to LEP owners.

That is correct, leastwise for the Horizons LEP, based on its wording. That being said, the Horizons LEP hasn't actually gotten anything over just getting Horizons instead at the time for roughly 1/4 the price... so far.

Why should anyone even remotely care what you believe or not? They said that LEP is all paid DLC content, they said they are working on space legs and atmo planets, they said those would be paid-for DLC. If you chose to buy the LEP, not believe what they themselves say and then get upset about the thoughts in your own mind, thats kinda your problem to deal with.

Now as I said.. I am not sure this content will come out by the end of 2018 - I DO believe it is coming.

I'm with the OP in feeling some frustration. The last we heard about LEP/premium content was back in 2017 from Zac. Since then, as best I'm aware we've heard nothing, and that's not very inspiring.

A simple heads up as to when they'll start talking about such content would be useful, as at the moment I'm feeling rather unloved.... ...so, any kitten pictures warmly received.

I agree that FD should announce (reminds me of my last phone call ) that 'Premium' content is coming, they don't have to say what it is, just that it's coming. Mainly to calm peoples nerves.

But I am sure some kind of announcement is coming, most likely towards the end of the year.

Anyone who thinks no future 'premium' content is coming - You really need to get your head checked. The business is currently healthy, but the only way it will survive and grow is through large scale premium content. The devs know it and so does DB.

They have said on numerous occasions that premium content will be released, no amount of (disguised) "are we there yet" posts is going to speed up development. On the flip side it is pretty safe to say the first batch of premium content will come in Q4, and further premium content in 2019
