A single player holding an entire community hostage

OP please could you forward me the name of the individual who has infiltrated your Discord and is tieing up 400 players single-handedly?

They sound like just the sort of stuff I'd like to have on my side ;)

Though you state you don't know who he is, and yet he has access to your most sensitive data. I don't mean to to sound like your crazy, but when is the last time you had a head exam and or seen a shrink? It's a possibility that he might actually be you. One's worse enemy is always themselves.

You mean that this story is ED's version of Fight Club?

Well, a very determined individual can keep you fighting until you just have enough. That's the Vietcong Strategy :)

I love how OP's story keeps changing.

OP, v1.0: "HELP US MY PMF OF 400 PEOPLE IS POWERLESS TO STOP ONE SINGLE GREEFER MCHACKERPANTS!"

OP, v2.0: "Okay it's actually like 30 people who work the BGS but they're so tired of it."

OP, v2.1: "And also we're in a low-pop system."

Engage your BGS, OP. Be a leader and rally your people, or else just admit that your "community" is a sham.

Ready for another change to the storyline?

The op's PMF hasn't been struggling. Their entire history only began in April and they've enjoyed dominance in their system from the outset.

They own 2 of the 3 orbital stations there. Their influence has been relatively stable for the last couple of weeks.

The op's PMF is the yellow line on the chart below.

<edit> Oh, and one other thing. The system population is over 8 million. So it's more of an average pop system, rather than a low pop one. </edit>

How about dropping the faction and doing something else?

I mean having to do something someone wants me to in my game is no fun.

Average starts at 50mil and ends at 100mil in my book, but I guess everyone's different on that.

Regarding what the OP said:

Getting challenged as a Wing through the BGS shows what the people you're flying with are made of. I personally wouldn't want to trade the Wing I am in for any other, knowing the people in here will come together and defend what was created. Even more so if you're not winning a battle and lose something, not giving up and turning things around is even more inspiring.

Persistence pays off big time when you see your PMF grow and thrive against the odds. Also knowing that your adversaries are only able to try to destroy your efforts but are completely incompetent when it comes to actually build something like you do. Small setbacks like making you lose a Station or even kicking you out of a System they might count as a victory, but in essence it's just a small diversion in your overall plans.

Adapting to the situations thrown at you is the key and makes you overcome even the biggest obstacles. But in the end it comes down to the people in the Wing backing you up. Without their support even the stoutest defender of a PMF will be forced to yield.

This is all true, but some victories not even the BgS can quantify.

Elite, man. It's a trip.

Your wing that ostensibly boasted a thousand members couldn't defend itself from losing a system against five or six chuckling troublemakers.

This thousand-member wing deliberately concealed their in-game PMF name because they were so terrified of adversity.

Your wing leadership begged for help from other wings, and your wing leader himself told one of the people undermining your BGS to literally kill himself.

It seems that your taste in company and idea of fortitude are equally questionable.

Was that some extremely mind numbingly boring echo from last year...yeah thought so!
