Wow, must be expensive, you could buy a Mac for less than that![]()
I did not think that the MAC is a so bad computer (I joke of course)

From £569 to £1099.
That’s just extortion.
I spent around £300 on my current card and my last build cost around £1400, which included the 4k screen.
The 2080ti is a Titan card re-branded and that is why it costs so much.
but the prices are very absurd and the real time Ray tracing tech is still in early stages.
Titan has always been too expensive anyway

I've always felt it was too expensive as well, especially since the 80ti was usually very close to it. But in this circumstance, if you're gonna be running ray tracing (and, there is going to be a lot of games coming out this fall that will support it) then I think you would be better off running the ti over the non ti.
With no real threat from the red team at the moment and the blue team not due to make an appearance until 2020, the green team pretty much have the top end all sewn up and can do whatever they want.
given its performance is really not too far off from the 1080ti relative to cost, best bet may be to simply purchase a discounted 1080ti following rollout of the RTX 2080, unless u plan to play most of your time in one of the few ray tracing designed games now on market. but even then from what I read on the ray tracing games, u can only get decent performance running 1080p... and who runs there these days with high res monitors and DSR.
That depends on whether the deep learning will do what Nvidia says it will as to whether the 1080ti and the 2080 non ti are close. I intend to wait for the results from reviewers. Right now I'm very happy with the 1080 I have.
