3.3 & Voice Attack

Someone asked in the chat in regards to the UI changes & how it will effect voice attack commands, i didn't see a response. Has anyone heard from HCS and whether they will be updating the profiles or are we looking to do that ourselves?

HSC have always updated the profiles, and have done so since the begining.
...its all going to be ok.

They'll probably update the profiles once Q4 is released...hopefully...or I'll spend a lot of time shouting at the monitor whilst frantically pressing random buttons on the HOTAS to see what they do all over again [where is it]

I was so pleased when 'request docking' worked again. Now, it probably won't.

Are the HSC scrips hard to update oneself?

I dont know I use VA but not HSC and it looks like a small change to my own Docking request

The HCS commands are more complex than ever, with they’re Boolean commands and separate sound buckets and so on. But it’s still simple enough to make your own commands manually.

The HCS profiles currently use some UI navigation dependent on various keypresses to scroll through the panels to access certain commands....like docking requests. Which won't work now with the UI changes [sad]

On a brighter note...some of the commands that use basic single or multiple keypresses but don't use the UI should still function...

I tweeted them that they would have a lot of work to do and their response was - no more than usual and that they are loving it. I wonder with them working together on COVAS if we will see the updates from HCS fairly quickly

It would make writing macros a lot easier if FDev would see fit to add a 'Reset panels' binding to the available commands.

I hope there will be hotkeys for all the new screens and features (e.g. night vision) as well as some old ones that are still missing that (e.g. request docking).
