Newcomer / Intro How to find docking ports?

Now i do want some trading, but the commodities screen is not yet understand by me

I am in a system .. trading in system itself make no sense i assume ( caannot oversee this now)
Import and export is between systems, so i what has my system to offer for making credits on a "export" flight to another system and then back ?

You want to do it on easy mode or with ingame tools?

Easy mode: https://eddb.io/trade/single
Ingame: several options.
a) open the galmap, select trade routes and look closely who trades what with whom
b) you can get the prices and profits for trading between stations you have visited inside the commodities screen - rightmost column, on top, you can select one other market/station to compare prices to
c) for simple and profitable runs, find systems in outbreak and ship in basic medicines (usually available cheaply in boom-ing high tech systems) or find systems in famine and ship in foods (likewise, from boom-ing agricultural systems).

Finally (not really recommended for doing in a starter Sidey) you can check out rare goods. There are some goods that are only produced in limited quantities at one single station, like Lavian Brandy (Lave Station), Leestian Evil Juice (George Lucas in Leesti) or Hutton Mugs and Mega Gin (Hutton Orbital in Alpha Centauri). The further away you ship them, the higher the price is paid (up to ~170 ly distance).

Doesn't the galmap also show trending trades of other players?
Not saying it's a best or even a good way of finding a good trade, quite the opposite, as it leads to milking the trade route, but it can give a newcomer great idea about the system states and economy types in correlation to specific commodities and their pricing.

I got 4000 credits , but now lost to ?
i accepted some missions, but never succeed the accomplish them: do i get a fine for that ?

Is there a oversight were i can see where all credits are paid for

Hmm. What missions are you doing then failing? Ones carrying cargo can result in fines and/or reputation loss. This will be mentioned in the mission description.

Simple "boom data" or "info" missions are probably best to start with. As your reputation grows with the faction offering the missions, payouts will increase but so does their risk.

Your current "transactions" as well as fines can be seen in your left hand panel second tab.

I never started the missions to perform, but did not realized that it harms my reputation :) (with red cheeks)
The missions were to bring goods, but could not buy them , so i did not yet any mission and credits were earned by shooting down a ship

Ah, I see!

Not everything harms your rep. or gets you fined - you just need to read what it says in the mission description.

A good way to find "source and return" goods is to use the (as mentioned before) eddb site. For example, if a mission wants you to source progenitor cells and then return them, you can use the following link:

https://eddb.io/commodity/36

You can then key in your current system and it will plot the nearest place to pick up the mechandise. This tool is brilliant.

Good luck and @@@O7.

And be sure you have the cargo space to haul the goods.
:) right now i am facing a shortage of cargo capacity on the sidewinder with 8 basic medicines cargo.
There is 4 cargo space available on the sidewinder .

You could try to purchase a freighter ship and do not mission with cargo ..or fly 2 times for the mission? ( mission time? ) .. or upgrade the sidewinder.
To know alls in outs of shipconstruction ?, i don't know nothing about it how the sidewinder is build up and can be extended/upgraded ( also in general )

If you did at least two or three missions, you should have enough money for a Hauler. They are just north of 50k and can carry 20 tonnes with shields, or even an Adder for 30k more, which is not only an upgrade in cargo capacity, but also in armour and firepower.

I mean, Sidey is a great little ship for courier missions, but once you dab into cargo hauling business, you'll have to upgrade rather soon. :)

Well you can put size 2 cargo racks in the size 2 slots - fit a size 1C bi-weave shield gen to cushion your docking and that gives 8t capacity - 10 t if you fit a size 1 cargo rack in the last slot, instead of a disco scanner or DC or whatever you have in it at the moment.

... but as Chris says, a Hauler doesn't cost much and has a great jump range.

Oh and you can experiment with ship builds here (apologies if repeated):

https://coriolis.io

First i must fly courier missions in order to earn money for a freighter ship and upgrading the sidewinder
Is there a 3part tool to get for knowing where those courier missions are to to get.

For example : i fly to another station ( there were no courier missions to get ) in order to hope to get a courier mission.
Perhaps to filter on the Galaxy map ?

Shipbuilds interesting yeah.. there is no 3d visualization how the ships are build up ?

Courier missions are very similar to "boom data", "secure delivery", "sensitive poll data" etc. You carry only data so no cargo racks needed. The higher the rank the more chance of an interdiction. I think boom data carry the least chance.

Most stations, outposts and bases have this type of mission: in my mind, they are pretty much the same thing. View the destination on the galmap select the station/base, accept mission, plot route, go there, hand in mission, collect reward. Simples.

On Coriolis, there is no 3D representation. It provides a way of experimenting with different modules, engineering and so on so you can see, among other things, cost, FSD range, build viability...

I like to have also a louder, sharper voice in the cockpit and got the feeling that i probably overlook one of the cockpitcontrols ?

There are five to choose from - Celeste, Alix, Archer, Victor and Verity - for the English language ones. I can't remember which, but I think you get two for "free" and the rest are premium, obtainable from the FD shop.

EDIT: Here's the info: http://elite-dangerous.wikia.com/wiki/COVAS
Yes interesting for a new voice, but is there a option for the volumesetting for the COVAS voice somewhere to find ?

I do see those curved color lines depicting what commodity is transferred, but who is trading there ?.
Open play and up to 32 human players can be playing with me in a system ..is this correct? (and are to be seen on the radar ?)

(one final tip is NEVER FLY WITHOUT CARGO TO SELL. It will help you find trading routes etc before you get into using more advanced methods)

More advanced methods ..where to think on.
What are those methods then ?
Oh ..i was flying.and i got a contact asking for me trading..
There are also other human pilots flying in the open game and they are asking for trading?
I should see this onto the radar.
