Did you ever get to listen to the 3 album version?
Covers the first two books like the TV series.
In true Adams style the story/wording is slightly different and I prefer it to the radio version.

As the Codex (which will become the new ED HHGTTG) has split the galaxy into 42 chunks now it is clear that FDevs are froods and therefore ED is the only legit space sim.
Some years ago I saw a short video of a sungrazing comet and immediately that tune played in my head. Happens ever since when I see moving pictures of comets.

Not sure if serious. Douglass adams predates elite not the other way around. There are references to hitchhikers' guide but they aren't related.

If you switch on the galnet link on EDDN, then the above is true. Maybe not Vogon in reality, but the net effect was much the same. My spleen vented itself to atmosphere and my intestines throttled me. I nearly dock destroyed myself in my rush to switch the damned thing off.
