Can't help thing that selling paint jobs for ships that aren't yet in game is probably a bad idea, and that there is ample chance to make these available after release, maybe around christmas.

Are you looking at it in the game, or just the store pic?
The Phantom and Mamba aren't even released. Selling skins for unreleased ships would really be pushing it. Especially since you can't even see how it looks ingame. And no beta doesn't count, not everyone has access to it.
Hopefully they'll have a special xmas sale with the paintjobs for the Phantom, Mamba around xmas when they are properly released.

I see the point - but disagree.
The ships *will* be released to all (Horizons owners) in due course (i.e. before the end of December) - and Black Friday only comes round once a year - so we'll have to wait until next year's Black Friday for the skins for the new ships (and Type 10 too....

Yep that was a sure purchase for me. Even if there were changes to the hull surely they could just patch the paintjob later?

I see where you're coming from, and you may be right about the Christmas sales, but I think including them now (given that the Q4 update is very close) would have been a good idea, especially the Mamba.
