Anyone have the details on what new skins are unlocked through the new updates challenge mode?

What species, general color or look?

TBH the rex skin is nice. but so disappointed for my beloved raptor. oh well.... you can't have everything. still happy about the dino pack and sandbox additions :D

Some look good. I’m really liking the apatosaurus and Rex. Started Jurassic and going for the Rex skin but may shift for the apatosaurus

a Little disappont about this skins... always the same pattern again again again... and too bad skin for Raptor :( the only one that i realy like is the T-Rex one. But in the end is fine , if they put gorgeous skin, peoples complain about that because they was forced to play jurassic challenge mode, is better introduce good skin in a pay DLC for me

So i just spent fifteen hours of hell on Pena, on Jurassic, didnt spoil myself before cuz i wanted to work for it regardless. I didnt sleep, i was so focused on getting what i thought was finally going to be the buck skin for the rex. Fifteen hours of hell and then finally that last ding goes up as the last rex sacrifice dies to the indominus and i unlock it. And then.. i make it... part of me expected to be disappointed, part of me was hopeful, and yet.. i was disappointed. Frontier as much as i love you... Skins so far have been your worst side in this. There are so few that are genuinely interesting or worth anything, and you had an amazing opportunity with this update to show you could do something more than shift the hue on a texture. Hey, atleasts for me it's better than the other rex skins, but it will always be a disappointment. It feels like it was half-baked. Honestly fellas, either outsource these skins or allow modders an easy way to put theirs in the game. It's going to happen with or without your permission, people already modded the game to be able to build across the entire map so you know...

Im still with the game and all, and i love the pack that came out of nowhere but yeah.. skins are really the weakest part of this game's visuals.

Parasaurolophus Coastal Skin

Honestly, I am devasted by the new skin for Parasaurolophus. It is one of my most favourite dinosaurs so it pains me to see it with those dull skins. Not sure why when other hadrosaurs have more colourful skins. I had high hopes for the new skin but the dino is just grey. That's it. Just plain grey. :( Vivid skin would've been much much better. I hope that the Parasaurolophus will someday get a nicer skin pattern with better colours.

P. S. To end on a more positive note, I really like the new T-Rex & Brachiosaurus skins. :)

Recently completed Sorna for the Raptor skin, I thought it had to be the Tiger skin given the island. What a waste of time; 9 hours for nothing. Frontier, what's with the baby's puke skin colors? These are in no-way worth the time investment on the challenge mode. I'm glad the game is receiving frequent support now, but you need to up your skin quality.

No joke, the skins in this game are by and large the weakest part of its visuals, by a wide margin. Theyre so low effort its becoming genuinely offputting. I dont really want to complete any of the islands anymore, having seen the utter disappointment of the rex (which is still among the best skins here and thats just such a low bar i cant even describe it). If i had known how the rex skin looked before getting it, i wouldnt have bothered probably. I REALLY hope frontier end up going back and changing the skins, using some actual talent later on, because whoever is responsible for the skins now is really not meant to be doing this. So as a result, none of hte rewards in this challenge mode update are anything i want to work towards.

Just subscribed to put my mark on that skin problem ! Jurassic Park is what got me into my actual filmmaking career, and I owe that film big time! Not a fan, but deeply respect the genuinly incredible workforce & talent that went into that original franchise !

While I find the Brachios/Apatorsaur/Ceratosaurus/indoraptor very cool, I find EVERY raptor skin ingame unintersting/invisible, the worst of last update being the paras' one !
T.rex finally has a quiet good skin, but that's nothing Jurassic Park grade sadly...

I mean, look at that Lost World T.rex patern, it's just total dope, Stan Winston really did tremendous work and the visual is already there. Please Frontier give us the really good looking dinosaur skin we have in the first franchise. Vertical + Horizontal dark stripes on the legs are a must, both for Raptors & T rex. The problem seems to be with shaders maybe, the skin is too shiny and the textures don't create efficient contrast to bypass the reflective textures' depth !
Just look at that T.rex in comparison:

I find every Jurassic World movie's dinosaur to be so meh looking, nothing compares to the vividness & naturalistic tones of the first 3 movies ! JP2&3 raptor were awesome ! JW movies' raptors just look like shiny plastic toys without any details or credibility... And I don't believe it to be a subjective view, side by side comparison can't lie you clearly see what's wrong x)
RiP Stan Winston, Frontier I love what this game represent as opportunity so please try to give him/the original franchise justice at one point in the future! I'd pay for that if needed ;)

there is one m good sir. but it's after you've doanted yo frontier's charity event. a jungle spinosaurus. its looks kinda like the vivid but replace the dark green with lime green and the yellows with reds hehe. it's kinda nice i think lol.

but agreed the only thing worth it (??) is the trex. i placed question marks coz haven't really touched challenge mode in my entire 294 hrs of playing. lol

same thoughts esp about the vomitus hahaha. wondering if it is at all worth it to do challenge mode esp on jurassic.. hmmmm
