Weird Thargoid cave in Eravate?

My friend was driving around on one of the planets in the Eravate system, when he stumbled upon some sort of cave in the ground. While inside it the gravity became very strong, so strong he couldn't use the boost on his SRV to jump. He saw something that looked like Thargoids with red faces, walking around in the cave without spacesuits or any sort of life support system. They saw him, but they didn't shoot at him. They were making weird noises too, like "somebody hurling while doing tongue clicks." When he left the cave to refuel his rover, the cave disappeared and he couldn't find it again. It's probably not related, but Bluford Orbital was shut down when he arrived there to make some hull repairs. I wasn't there to see any of this, so I can't authenticate that any of this actually happened. Does anybody know what he might have saw?

You know, I followed a rainbow one day, and discovered a pot of gold at the end of it. it was right next to the leprechaun on a unicorn... if only I hadn't turned my back and it mysteriously disappeared ;)

You sure your friend wasn't on the whacky tobaccy when he saw this? :D

I suspect:

https://www.theguardian.com/science...gives-uk-magic-mushroom-hunters-an-extra-high

An unnaturally late first frost across the UK means magic mushroom hunters could be in line for a remarkable natural high this year.

Psychedelic mushrooms may still be in bloom on New Year’s Day, as the subzero temperatures that would normally have appeared by this time of year are yet to arrive.

Is Illegal drug use a subject that can be discussed on this forum? Well that explains Guardian reporting then.

OP, I am clueless why your friend is saying that and why you are isntantly believe the story and post it here? Can you give us some explanation - for example, in ED you can make Screenies very quick or even record it, I know that such situation would be horrible and you could forget about it but why?

To sum it up:

Your friend drives around a planet because it is fun (eravate is a system where everyone could be and have some fun, even starters) then, he says he found a cave (caves are only known in the game as Thargoid structures and these are no caves these things are some sort of bio installation but reminding of caves indeed). The statement about gravity gets more interesting, it would make sense if really biological life is in there and needs to walk on the ground. Red faces, I think they were glowing? Many Thargoid lifeforms are glowing red. The weird noises could be also fit to the thargoid bio lifeforms. He said he left the cave, was it immediatly away after he gets out or when he wanted to come back? The shutdown at Bluford Orbital is strange but could also have another reason.

So, for me it seems so that your friend played to much of ED and had a nightmare in his sleep :).

If you and your friend are serious and (if this happend really your friend will search like crazy for it) want to search for it pls describe as good as you can where this happened.

cheers

To answer the OP's question about his supposed "friend".... what you described is sounding like a form of the Uganda Knuckles meme... which while I found hilarious (And participated heavily in before it died cause VR chat is just ... just great... even without VR)... involves "red things making tongue clicks".

So yeah your friend is just memeing.
