First item on the store page when I looked 5 mins ago was the Viper Razor paints:

So yeah, definitely not just a big ships issue. It happens on so many of the paints that I'm almost at the point of wondering if it's intentional, although it would be a peculiar design choice in my opinion. All I know is that I took my car for a spray and it came back with lines like that, they'd be doing it again for free.

Not trying to trash the art department here at all, many of the paints are great (the Horus packs in particular, which are amongst the best 'everyday workhorse' looks I've seen in space games) but the ones with those issues just look so jarring - it's not like I went peering over the paint to spot the three things I highlighted above, they jumped out at me as soon as I looked at the pic.

Ha. It was the first ever paintjob I bought for the Python, and particularly with the ship kit applied, looks absolutely terrible. It's the purchase I regret most (followed by the cockpit lights and the Cobra Mk3 bobblehead, at least I got those during a sale).

The Cobra Mk III bobblehead is the greatest thing ever.

My issue is that it's too small (in larger ships) and it's in green, whereas I don't have any green paintjobs for it (but plenty of others) :(

I should really apply its use solely in my Cobra only shouldn't I. Then it's great.

You have got to be kidding me, THAT is the paint pack Frontier releases a few days before the DW2 launches? The Phantom is in the #3 slot, it’s super popular, and a Predator pack is what they put out???

I would love to buy some paint for my Phantom before Sunday night, but not like this. The three standard packs are boring and uninteresting, and the Predator is one of my least favorite styles Frontier puts out. I was hoping for a Horus, or a Squadron, or a just anything with colors that looks decent on a ship with some angles like the Phantom. My wallet was ready Frontier, and we won’t be back in the bubble for almost a YEAR after this weekend, so no reason to buy any paints from now until next winter.

On the positive side, guess I’m saving my money?

All good points actually... Without outfitting stations out there, this is the last chance for Frontier to get extra money from the Explorers... I think the marketing dept at Frontier is on holidays right now...
I also expected a Rider kit actually....

The Viper is not even on the list and got a lot of extra kits recently...

But seriously, they returned from holiday THIS week, be grateful they put out what are probably some of the more popular skins in the store for the Phantom. And the black and gold (was it?) at xmas.

Well, there are three new sets I see, but I can see you need to get it out: rage away!

(Hmm, looks like all the beluga skins are in the 25% off - now that's a proper explorer ship :) )
