[INDEPENDENT] Dedicated Private MOBIUS PVE Groups for the PC, PS4, XBOX with over 50,000 Commanders.

Well I'm in but does this mean we have elected Mobius as the Big Grand Poobah? :p ;) And that he gets to make the rules?

I think the only thing I would like clarified is the bounty aspect. I'd like to play at least part of my time as a bounty hunter and I really don't want to upset anyone by attacking them if they don't want to be attacked. I guess the easiest way is just to say no PvP but I would suggest if a player gets a bounty over a certain agreed level they become fair game. I have no wish to shoot people over small debts but if someone racks up say 10,000 credits then I'm mighty interested. Of course if the consensus is just no PvP I'll stick to that. Thoughts anyone?

Yeah this was talked about a few pages back and no pvp means no pvp whatever the reason. It needs to be a totally safe group for anyone wanting to play to know that they will only get attacked by NPCs and no player will ever fire on them.
It isn't in place yet but there will be a mechanic whereby the rules are set when you join a group such as this then as soon as you fire on another player you get booted out, unless there is a game reason for it ie choosing different factions.
Mobius has said right at the beginning that there will be no Big Grand Poobah, no one will have any rank at all just all the same. Mind you the game mechanic as it stands now means that if anyone needs kicked Mobius will have to do it.
 
yeah the group thing!, it would be nice if I could put other moderators in place for the group and unfortunately the group was named after me automatically and no option to give the group a name, maybe something will turn up later regarding the naming of groups.

Fair do's, keeping it clean like that is the simplest way. I intend to play the all group most of the time, but it will be nice to have somewhere to go if the proverbial does hit the fan.

that's the idea really, never feel that you have to play in this group and everyone is free to drop in and out, the PVP side of it was going to depend on the size of the bounty but as others said if your going to have a dedicated pve group then once you introduce pvp it stops being a pve group.

currently after one week we are 40 members. not bad me thinks.

Thing about playing in group is other PCs are also group members, so while in group all bounties are on one of us. If that player picked up the bounty playing outside of group then hunt him/her outside of group.but problem with any PVP in group is that it may prevent us from doing things that may give a big bounty on us. Think later on, am elite player who takes on a big job for the empire in federation space. He/she may have a massive bounty on him(in federation space) for doing well on his PVE. So we should not have arbitrary bounty limits that may restrict our style of play.

until further notice PVP only happens during combat missions where a side is chosen or that you have been given a mission to hunt someone down for some reason or another. Its then down to the player to remove their own bounty before a npc claims it off you.

as a whole I don't think that you would come across any players in this group that would attack you regardless of bounty.

I feel a dedicated pve group is just that: a dedicated pve group.
No attacks on players whatsoever. If someone gets bounties on his head by pirating npc then that is his own business, no matter the height of those bounties. He will have to deal with the environment to get rid of the bounties or fight of npc police and nps bounty hunters.
As soon as players start pvp-ing because of monetary gain your pve group is dead.
If it is your goal to have a pure pve group then that is what it should be. That way there will never be discussions about this..

I agree keep it completely PvE, no exceptions, keep it simple.

feel free to send a request, currently this group has 45 members after one week, the good thing about this group is that everyone you meet are here for the same reasons as you and all prefer a cooperative play style. if pvp take your fancy at any point then feel free to drop out and log into another group to satisfy your cravings.
 
I'll sign up next time I'm in the game too. Haven't been hugely interested in PvP throughout the alpha and beta so this is definitely my kind of thing.

PvE, pilots cannot attack another player unless mission allows
PVP, pilots can only attack another player if they have a bounty.
PVPVE, pilots can only attack players from another faction

I agree, although I would say do it in new modes where the game mechanics support it like weapons refuse to fire at other elite federation pilots.

Friendly fire is always funny.. and besides thats kind of why you pick a group of people who are like minded to play with.

We can then all get out there without the 'ready weapons' heres a new contact...

Mobius count me in!
