Actually I did think of that. I went with bottom up in what I posted. I tried every concieveable Caesar (shift) both ways (top down / bottom up). It’s not Caesar.

In the audio from the Gnosis event it says that the image of the system hidden in the first part of the audio is the key to the second part.

I did. Well at least I said it appears to be a 7 planet system. Someone else posted the spectrogram that I came up with as well. It appears warped. Unless we did something incorrect.
Incidentally guys, I looked at the cyphers that solved the project Dynasty puzzle and tried something similar with the substitution cypher:

Here is the spectrogram image I came up with.
Looks like system with star & 7 bodies, with outermost three seem to have minor bodies orbiting. Could be one very familiar system, then again maybe not.
Have we checked all systems with any greek mythology connections with that image? Seems there is an ongoing greek mythology link going on with this stuff.
In some languages, the letters also represent number values (Hebrew and Greek for instance).

Its cool I got this. It says "dear humanity, we regret being alien , we regret coming to Earth and we most certainly regret that the UNSC just blew up our raggedy fleet". Or something along those lines.

Which tool did you use? I used Audacity and it doesn't seem to have mel or log scaled frequency axis option (which I figure is why mine was all stretched out looking). Just curious.

Now realizing this is likely not really gameplay/thargoid related at all, and just someone at Cannon making stuff up I kind of wish I hadn't bothered. Meh. I suppose I've been lore-ganked.

You mean the bit about "If this is not an elaborate hoax"? I originally weighed the lead sentence "A new link message has been received from the Thargoids" heavier than that one.
Meh, didn't realize Cannon was in that business. Fair enough, lord knows enough other groups do that too, just wasn't expecting it here. Future expectations adjusted accordingly.
