Maybe the value of the paintjob isn't in the paintjob, but in what it implies?

Sadly I don't fly the Cobra anymore.
I'd pay for that paintjob for the Krait, or the Python.

Many people here who would pay for them. I lost opportunity to have a midnight black Phantom, and it's sad. I bet more ship kits and paintjobs would be great business to FDev.
