Future DLCs

Hi everyone,

I've seen a number of threads about what we want to be added into the game but I can't help but wonder if any of those will actually happen. I'm pretty sure that Frontier know what we want to see added to the game and I see people enthusiastically adding new ideas every day. So, honestly and realistically, do you think any of our ideas or wishes will happen? And what do you actually expect to see added into the game? Also, I would like to see Frontier come out with an honest statement addressing the most popular ideas/wishes we have... like, just say what's in the works, what will be worked on in the future and what's just never gonna happen. I think at this stage saying "we currently have no plans for this or that" is not good enough.

Anyway, back to my original point. I'm really curious what do you think but please, if you could, no suggestions on what you want to see added, there are different threads for that, only on what you actually think will be added. :)

I also believe it will be more decorations and such, and terrain tools. We have enough dinosaurs for now and features, it's time for new items!

Absolutely agree, the game now need decorations and terrains tools. we NEED to unleash our creativity and now we cant. And i hope something come out in march, two months of silence are too much

Well, what we want and need is one thing, what will they give us is another one. We all hope we'll get these things but do you actually believe that we will? My problem is that I expect them to have some sort of a schedule for their DLCs which would mean that decorations and terrain tools might not be coming any time soon. I do not know how much time and effort they can actually invest in player suggestions. That is why I asked what you all think is, realistically, going to happen, regardless of your own wishes. And that is also why I want Frontier to address the biggest issues/wishes publicly and state out front what will be done and what's never gonna happen.

I was so sure that we'd be getting a trailer for whatever the next dlc is this week. The timing felt right. Guess not unless something happens tomorrow. Regardless, I think we're close to knowing.
Like the others said, it'll likely be a Park-themed pack (decorations, attractions, guest facilities, and possibly some light terrain tools) with 2 maps & 5 dinos thrown in. For dinos, I expect at least 1 'flashy' (Iguanodon/Indoraptor level of work) one. Therizinosaurus maybe?

well in the past, Frontier has always held in high esteem what the community wanted, and they did everything in their power to add what the community wanted, so why would it be different this time?

Secrets of Dr Wu :D I almost never see requests for more hybrids yet that's what we got. This goes back to my point about them having their DLCs planned ahead. Also, because they have to cooperate with Universal on this game, they might not be able to do whatever they want whenever they want.

perhaps for the DLC, in fact, the secret of Dr. Wu was clearly programmed perhaps even before the release of the game ... but still in this DLC have added the Trodoon, one of the most requested dinos from the community and special genes based on some community suggestion. so maybe something has already been planned but they could continue to find ways to give us what we need: P

I was hoping to hear something as well. Love this game but going to take a break for a while. Other games are grabbing my attention.

Very simple, the community wants to DLC of flying and aquatic reptile, as well as a DLC of breeding, making a DLC of aquatic animals and flying is a lot of work, and the Frontier seems to be wanting to do DLC's that give less work. I'm sure new constructions and new dinosaurs are entirely possible, but DLC's more complicated probably won't be made

in fact i dont expect flying acquatic or breedeng DLC very soon (maybe the next few years..) they already said that .
Instead:

1- Better Terrain Tools; sand mud etc

2-Decorations; Rocks small trees large trees Skeletons etc

3- Better Raptor skins; The Jurassic Park skins The lost world skins and JP III skins (not including raptor squad cos they’re characters and there’s wayy to many threads for them)

4- better dinosaur ai; hadrosaurs and non combat herbivores stay for a while then get killed maybe shorten that and Buff up the Herbivores a bit?

5- Sandbox on all islands once you’ve achieved 5 stars on them

are all things that could be done

they said that they will continue to support it for sure until the last film is released or in 2021 but I do not know that they have ever said that after this date they will stop supporting it

I'm getting really anxious waiting to hear about the next update/dlc. would love to have a "soon" or "we will tell you in a week or two" or something so I have an idea when we will find out...

Personally, I would love to have more space in sandbox mode or they can just let us create our own island so we can mess around with the terrian tools and other features, but I do agree that we have enough dinosaurs at the moment
