Yes your a.. will be handed to you, but dying has no negative consequences in CQC (no rebuy cost).

Also.. right hand panel looks tidy with 4 Elites... That Helpless rank upsets the balance ;)

That reminds me, the wiki hasn't told me on this - what metric does CQC go off? Is it kills, XP, ranks, prestige or what?
In other words, if I hit level 50 to unlock all the stuff, will I still gain CQC rank from playing or will I have to reset my levels to progress any further?

VERY well done..... I went and got another commander slot when I recently hit my triple (both my commanders have something in common... that they can't lose;... the crappy 'Helpless' CQC tag on right screen)

Nah, it's exactly the right attitude. The 4th Ranking (the meaningless Arcade rank) has always been the one that doesn't belong there.
Carrying the "0% Helpless" amongst the true Triple ELITE Ranks is a badge of honor.

Those first three you call true Elite ranks are way too easy to get.

The CQC Elite is actually the only one I'm proud of.
