Hey guys,

Just a very quick note to let you know that if you have pre-ordered Planet Coaster on the Frontier Store you can now collect a steam key which will allow you to add it to your steam library.

You will need to log into the Frontier Store and click the "my key purchases" on the store. This will allow you to claim the steam key and add it to your steam library. If you are having any difficulty at all, don't hesitate to contact our support team here: https://support.frontier.co.uk/kb/

Remember that you won't be able to play Planet Coaster until the beta (Early November) or release (November 17th) depending on the pre-order purchase you made. With exception of the Party in the Park weekend where people with Thrillseeker access will be able to play for the extra special long weekend.

I believe the new key is for the beta and game. You should have two items in your Frontier acct: "Planet Coaster: Early Bird Alpha Edition" and now "Planet Coaster: Thrillseeker Edition (Steam)". Thrillseeker includes beta access.

Yeah thats what I'm thinking, but I see a whole lot of people saying they have them and noone saying they are still waiting so just a tad concerning thats all.
I would use support but I will happily give it more time just in case its me being impatient. I just hope its not an issue with me applying a voucher too it and getting a £4 refund a while back. The order says 'Closed' [blah] . I was told it wouldn't affect anything back then however.

Yay got my key! Can't wait to play! It's been over 12 years in the making and waiting for a proper roller coaster game and it's finally happening! [woah][woah][woah][wacky][wacky][wacky][squeeeeee][squeeeeee][squeeeeee]

Hey LemonyNebula,

Like I've said to you on the Steam forums, I recommend that you open a ticket with Frontier Support. It would be sad if you can't play during the upcoming Alpha weekend.

I hope you get your key soon. Please report back to us if you've got it, so that we (I) can stop worrying. [up]

I bought my Planet Coaster Thrillseeker Edition in the Steam Store and who can I get my key? because in the Frontiere store isn't possible.

When Frontier releases the alpha for the party in the park weekend, then you can download the alpha and play it for a weekend. (Alpha is on Steam itself).
As Joël stated here: it's available October 6 at 6 PM BST.

You can download the full game when it is released, which for Thrillseekers (including alpha players) should be the start of the Beta, early november. Everybody else will have to wait until the 17th of november (barring any delays).

You won't be able to download the Thrillseeker Edition itself until the beta starts in early November.

However as you have the Thrillseeker Edition in your library, on Thursday at 6pm BST (7pm CEST / 1pm EDT / 10am PDT) you will get a different product (Planet Coaster Alpha) added to your Steam library at which point you'll be able to download that. When the event ends the "Planet Coaster Alpha" product will be removed from your library.

I expect it'll be handled in the same way Steam does with all their other free weekends. I think they auto-delete the installation files when the event expires. (At least it seems that way by looking at my own games folder on a couple of games I tested on Free Weekends, at most I see a few log files remaining).

Saved games shouldn't be affected though as these are stored separately in the default Windows Save game folder (%userprofile%\Saved Games\Frontier Developments\Planet Coaster by default).

Between yesterday and tomorrow. I didn't get a notification that my key was released, but you should check your keys on frontier.
If you don't have one by tomorrow, you may want to create a support ticket.
