Planet Coaster - Confirmed Features and Future Updates List

Hello everyone! I'm an avid PC player but normally just lurk through the forums here. I had EA on Day 1 and interact with another Theme Park Fan Group via Facebook. Our group noticed that a lot of peeps have been asking for a list of "Confirmed Features and Future Updates" for PC. Thus, I decided to start a Google Sheet and collaborate with that smaller group at first to to begin filling out.

I'm excited to say our work was wonderful but we are now ready for a larger audience to get their eyes on it and help us make it even more informative. The Google Sheet is open to everyone with editing. I'm entrusting that our wonderful forum community is epic and can collaborate together to build it out and make it even more robust of a list. I am the owner of the sheet and thus if things get too out of hand can roll the sheet back. I am hoping though that that does not have to happen.

You'll notice we have the sheet set up with three tabs for now. The first tab being items not yet in game but that we have heard are confirmed (via Frontier in some way, shape, or form) for a future state. The second tab is for items released in Alpha 1. And the last tab is for hints, keystrokes, etc. that we've seen many folks ask about whether they are in game or not.

I'm really looking forward to this Sheet growing as we find out more information. Feel free to be a part of editing the sheet, or just using it as reference, or sending the link to anybody who is asking about features or updates!

We saw a car from an inverted coaster and a divecoaster so that´s pretty much confirmed :)

Great list! This is a great way to help everyone keep track of the future content to be released! I think water rides were confirmed in one of the streams. No concept art or time for release was shown, but they said they knew what they wanted to do with them. Also, RMC coasters were confirmed in one of the streams as well! I can't wait until phase two! Why does it have to be a month away!?!?!?!?

I've added a couple of shortcuts to the 3rd sheet for you - CTRL+Z - the best thing ever in a game like this!!!

So we did a lot of those items are part of the themes. I don't think any of us have time right now to add every single item such as trees, props, building pieces, etc. So we lumped them together into their appropriate themes. As time allows, we can look at ways to expand. [cool]

Also noticed at the end of the list in animatronics, you haven't listed those mentioned by GazNorris (cannon, pirate band) and what about the Kraken and Tenticles as well.

hybrid coasters have been confirmed, they said this a few times actually. they have also said that they plan to put every coaster that exists in the game.

Will there be hybrid/RMCs in planet coaster?

Hybrids will definitely be in Planet Coaster! We'd be insane not to include them. The wooden coaster tech is still in development and we are really looking forward to sharing it with you once it's ready :)

Hope we can make a coaster similar to Twisted Colossus or true dueling coasters without having to use the crossover track like we had to in RCT3.

I just hope that those old styled stalls from rct 1-3 with burgers around them aso are back!!!! Its just nostalgica
