Alpha 0.2 date release date revealed

Thats still a long way to go.. but i guess that was to be expected [tongue]

But it's good to see a date now so we can start counting days again [big grin]
i wonder how many coastertypes we can build in Alpha2 !!

And will it come with just that? Or also other stuff like more Scenery items, flatrides and/or other stuff?
Argh...so many questions!

Good to have a date, but man... that is a long time away, way more than 6 weeks too. I really hope they will release more scenery pieces and stuff before that. Sure you can make a lot with what's already available, but we need more or the possibilities will run out very soon.

This is 9 weeks instead of the ''promised'' 6 weeks. But oh well. More time means more awesomeness included.
Although it's still a bummer for me. I was hoping for a new patch in 2-3 weeks, after my internship so I had time to play. But 24 may is close to my finals, so rip me lol.
I guess Parkitect and RCTW will have to do for now.

For me that's way too long. I was hoping for some minor updates every now and then... With a few more props and things like this. I have to admit i'm somewhat disappointed :(

Better to do content updates in big chunks. Gives more time to test everything, and make sure no major game breaking bugs are introduced.

Um we were already expecting may... How can you hope for minor frequent updates when they already said it would be in 6 to 8 week chunks before the alpha launched? Did you think they'd change their mind on the phases and just go to smaller updates? We already know it would take this long...

I actually think it would make a lot of sense for Frontier to release at least one unscheduled dollop of scenery items on the community. The best advertisement for this game has surely been the amazing stuff that has been created with just two themes......

The community is a VERY big asset for Frontier at the moment, so it makes sense to maximise their capabilities.
