That's exactly my opinion[wink][up]
I would absolutely love an expansion pack built around the theme of a water park. It would be vastly more robust than any of the current DLC, and justifiably more expensive because it would need to offset the cost of development.
I understand that people would rather see resources dedicated to other themes. Honestly, I'd rather see bigger more fleshed out expansions with scenery, rides, and features galore than small DLC's
Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the DLCs we've gotten. I have bought every single one and use parts from them. But they do honestly feel small and featureless.
Yes there might be technical limitations but that's why they have a team of developers, to overcome those limitations and do the things thought not possible by the consumer. Obviously, that takes time and money. I'm patient, and I'd pay well for more robust expansions with new game mechanics.

Do you think that they rushed the development of the game itself and didn’t really plan for the future and “forgot” to code the game to make water parks possible and other things like mini golf, etc. and now in their minds it’s too late and they are not going to fix their mistakes and go back and fix the core game to allow people to swim and slide down slides? But I think with Soaked, they added new code to RCT3 to make the new behaviors and animations possible of people swimming, sliding down slides, etc. I would really like working pools for hotels. Maybe hot tubs, too. In RCT3 you could fake hotels like that and have working elevators, and for hotel rooms have benches where people would rest.
While RCT3 had it´s problems, PC has more of them or lets say, they are too complicated to fix. That´s why it´s probably not going to happen.

Waterparks have never been on my personal wishlist (There is SO much more to do in the theme park aspect itself)
Regardless of my personal wishes it's good to know what the future might hold for PlanCo or in this case, what it won't hold.
Good to see confirmation that there is still more to come!! Thats all i need to know to make me hyped

But that doesn't mean we aren't gonna get some water rides(boat ride, good old splash battle) or classic dark rides(doombuggy, hanging darkride(with spinning,like in droomvlucht) or even the new mack powered suspended coaster right? I'm surprised that pricing is an issue, I mean what is considered a "reasonable" price? IMO the current DLC costs more than the base game which to some people is just fine, but not for all of us since the current DLC is mostly cosmetic.
Anyway... I just hope that the current water features can be updated (whether its a DLC or a free update, or an expansion is irrelevant) if the general belief is that PlanCo will not see any updates to water features, rivers, pools, and especially boats, etc, I already dont care for the current DLC and the fact that water parks are not a focus will make me not want to spend more money on PlanCo cuz where exactly is my money going if not to improve the game? I'll just patiently wait another 10+ years for a better sequel like I did with RCT3, I can be patient [wink]
Planet Safari was trademarked by Frontier over 2 years ago... if they turn it into another stand-alone game like JWE it wont be worth playing, obviously games like this can offer so much more if they are compatible like how Soaked and Wild were for RCT3, so sad Planco cant achieve the samething RCT3 did 15 years ago

I guess we’re going to have to fake water parks in PC for a while. The track from the new flying turns coaster can be used to fake waterslides. And the bobsled pieces on the workshop. I guess they don’t want to upgrade the water that they rushed through during development. So no water slides or swimming pools where the people have to interact with the water for now. If you compare PC and RCT3 with Soaked and Wild, PC is still missing things. But, PC was not meant to be a clone of RCT3.

Im confused about what your asking... have you read any of my posts from this thread?? are you being rhetorical or ironic? or are you actually unaware of all the threads about water? rivers? waterfalls? boats? pools? rain? underwater effects like in RCT3? the list goes on and on....
