how can you tell? there are no interface elements visible.It is in-game.

My guess...The video is beautiful. It's not about interior design though.... is it?
How was the building built? How were the elements placed? What does it look like when i play the game and create... interior design? I cannot tell if that's an in-game video. I didn't learn how i'll be doing interior design.
It's beautiful though, and i'm glad we've seen it.
Yeah i went back and looked at that too. I didn't think it was the same building?My guess...

...but with a roof slapped on top. As someone else said, " It just doesn't feel like an interior at all."
We haven't heard any in game audio yet- so who knows about that... we'll probably have to wait until the 14th for that. :|

But if it is, it's still not what i expected from "interior design".
I assume we will have ways to do what interior designers do.
* paint
* curtains
* floor coverings
* furniture
* signs
i was hoping to see someone actually doing that; like building a themed interior.
That sounds a bit too complex for a general theme park sim, I'd rather have them focus on coasters and amusement rides over as "interior designer."
It's not the same building, but it's the same process.

I know right ? Same feeling. I'm not 100% sure but ...After watching the video several times there was something that kind of bugged me and it is the fact they are giving too much importance to the logo of the shop rather than the interior design and I kind of thought if this could be a hint from Frontier saying, we heard you and you will be able to import your own logo as well. I may be wrong but that is impression I got after watching this video.
I'm not agree. They are very close to what we need to make real interior design.That sounds a bit too complex for a general theme park sim, I'd rather have them focus on coasters and amusement rides over as "interior designer."
And this is what we need for the shops :
Some shelves (let's say 3 differents sizes could be enough), colorable (2/3 colors), with (or without) 3D logo sign on top (with logo or picture import), that react exactly like the stall (the "script" inside).

After that, you can improve this system, if you have time (for exemple : when someone take an object, the number of objects on the shelves decreases, or the customer must go through the cashier to validate their purchase), but even without such improvements, this shelves system would already be great !!!
EDIT : Oops !!! I thought I was in the CHC forum and I just realised that I used an exclusive artwork from the CHC in the public forum [weird] I hope you will not be angry ...
I know right ? Same feeling. I'm not 100% sure but ...
If it's true, it's great !!! [yesnod][yesnod]

The most important (and "complicated" thing) is the modification about the path system allowing to make "area/plaza", and with that and the good textures, we can make floor coverings.
Everything else is much simpler (we can even do it ourselves), because it's just decoration : 3D textured statics objects (like columns/pillars to give relief or some furniture. UGC can help a lot) and some 3D textured scripted objects (like chair and table they already have ...)
Here's what we can do with RCT3 now, and we are very close to be able to do with PC :

We already have the countertops in the background, the walls, the lights, and the roof. Which is a very good start.
