1. Will it be possible to create pathes that fills up edges or something like that to have No grass or any texture to see!

2. Will it be possible to build pathes as close as possible to other pathes without always the game trying to snap somewhere else I don't want???
 
Will there be a way to change the overall shape of the path tile, for example, instead of a circular tile, it could be changed to a square tile with straight edges? This would look nice when making square plazas and such that people have been asking about.

And for guest reactions, will long lines cause guests to get angry and leave? Or while waiting in line and the ride breaks down, will we hear the guests complain?

1. What has been the general reaction to ALPHA1? Did we use stuff the way it was envisioned by the team?


2. What were the teams biggest surprises in the feedback they have got? Like a feature they tought was VERY good but were harldy used by us. Or the other way around, things that weren't planned but we did it anyway.


3. Stairs. Will stairs be added to path's and que lines? And if so, how will they work? (selectable? automatically depending on steepness?)


4. Plaza's. A much requested feature when it comes to path's is plaza's. With the path widht set to max. we have some "tricks" to create plaza like path's. Is there anything planned or updated to make it more easy or more realistic to create plaza's?


5. Fences. In RCT3 the fences were considered scenery. Which could be done because we only needed straight pieces since we only had 90 degree angles. This is more complicated in PC ofcourse with all the curves. Will there be an option to automatically add fitting fences to a path when i want to? (I think que lines already have this)


6. Curved slopes. This is again a feature that is possible to do in Alpa 1, but only when using some sort of trick. Will it be possible to have curved slopes in alpha 2 Or in the future?


7. Old school 90degree. I know, we always want what we don't have. Curved path's was much requested but now that we have it we also want to be able to have 90degree angles. Have they been considered?


8. The obvious one, what has been changed on the path system since Alpha 1?

Just one question.

Will cpu usage be improved in this update?

It's the only thing stopping me from playing at the moment.
 
I hope I'm asking new questions here that relates to this Q/A.

First, have/will you consider making it easier to complete queues for a new ride and attaching a ticket booth? I've watched a lot of people who are confused when making their first ride or attraction and they can't attach their queue directly to the path. Maybe this is solved with a newbie tooltip? It just seems unclear the first time unless you research the game or watch someone else do it.

Second, will we get puke reactions from guests? I know there needs to be "maintenance" or "cleaners" to go with it, but will we see this? I'd also like to see some guests eat a not-so-Chief Beef and get sick [yesnod][tongue]

Can you imagine change your communication and your update plans in the future ? I mean why not make "A special week of" and update every week the game with just 4-5 objects /features/adds ?
I dream about "A special week of ... benchs"; "A special week of... walls" ......

9. A good path system has to allow a great deal of creativity but still needs to be user friendly, easy to use and powerfull.
What were the biggest challenges to create such a tool?

Has or will the ability to create paths (or roads) with sidewalks be implemented to allow for realistic creation of Mainstreets?

- I also very like to know if we'll be able to make floors.

- Will we be able to make inside restaurants where guests sits in?

- Will the guests be bored by old rides (less guests except for very hot rides)? Will we need to change rides (for example color) from time to time to keep interest?

- Will there be a way to have paths with lights/bin already on them and be able to change radius (force) of the lights?

- My last one is not related to guests and paths, but will we have more information about management aspect of the game soon?

Paths:

- Could we also have a hot key which makes the path wider/slimmer and/or longer/shorter as well as the slider in the command box. Apologies if this already exists !!

- the option to add generic lamp posts, trash bins or queue tv's at equal spacing along path during creation of path or queue.

- more path extras such as fences, benches, vending machines, ticket booths, no entry signs etc.

Guest Reactions:

- guests with additional items such as maps, pushchairs, balloons, food, souvenirs etc.

- a way to monitor popular guest reactions by ride, food, outlet or generally

- ability to define guests and/or plan their day.

Other:

- Fireworks ??!!


Keep up the excellent work, the game is looking fantastic and is really easy to play.

Loving the game guys!!!

1) Related to paths, will we have the ability to place chairs/benchs along the paths for guests to sit?

2) Tables would also be nice (and like chairs/benches, they seem like an obvious addition), but even better, can you allow guests to interact with tables/counters when sitting, such as placing their food/drinks on them so we can make real, interactive restaurants?

3) Can you have guests sit down to watch wherever there are animatronic displays nearby, so we can make shows? Or even, parades?
 
How will the paths work the new terrain editor? Will paths be able to conform to slopes and terrain variations automatically or will we have to manually configure them?

Having looked at Alpha videos I have some Guest Reaction questions!
Please pick any that are answerable as I understand that some of what I'd hope for is too complex or still under a NDA type umbrella.
I'll give generic and specifics Q's in case.

My Only Path Question:
Can we have the ability to design a path+scenery/benches/lamps and then copy and paste the whole bit to make it longer and consistent?

My Guest Questions:
Can you give more info about how complex the visitors will be?

Can visitors split up to do different desires and return to a 'meet point'?

Can visitors be realistic in throwing up into trash and restrooms and on rides/station?

Can visitors of a young age FORGO using the restroom and eating. (I was a broke teen and summers mean dehydration and yea..)

Can visitors start fights if the wait in line has been bad at each ride or line jumpers made them grumpy?
(Bad park rating?) IRL, a woman had her nose broken over a line cutting, was intense and chaotic since her son and husband started swinging too. (I think she complained to a teenage ruffian that had line jumped/cut..)

Can lost kids be simulated in PC?

Can the bathrooms have an option for toilet paper roll being over/under and # of ply? (; BaDumTish (just have them clog please, visitors are usually gross so each bathroom has an attendant to keep up in big parks)

Can some visitors have a season pass and visit but not stay long? OR visit often with souvenir cup and items already in inventory?

Can visitors take kids to wait for others on coasters like be with caretaker at the exit with them instead of riding?

Will visitors be able to use a lost and found type booth?

Will bad visitors get chances to steal from other guests?

Can visitors not be routed to the closest shop for a need if they prefer a certain type of stall? I'd plan and walk across park for fried rice yum.

Can park visitors have different 'wait time thresholds'? I rarely got in long lines but others happily Q for over hour waits.

Gameplay Questions:
Can the management side have a way to auto close tall rides for small fast summer rainstorms? Including a test run of coasters for safety.

Can the park empty of visitors for long/severe weather? All 'day' rain or snow and no one shows up and everyone leaves IRL to save money on operations parks close.

Can you simulate a coaster just not making it back into the station and having an emergency.. plus the free park passes that everyone gets when that happens? (being on the 8'oclock news is bad for rating.) Schwarzkopf launched shuttle and Boomerang types are fickle creatures.

Can you simulate only certain cars on a train- restraints being inoperable? (Less turnover till repaired) Whole train still runs as usual, just with yellow caution tape on the affected car.

Can you simulate re-riders when the line is empty? (IRL third time to fourth time back to back is when I become sick feeling but just need a break and leave ride)

Can sunburn be a thing? Like If no paths are shaded and you haven't put in a sunscreen shop then people may have to leave earlier with money still unspent as in bacon looking skin but not flavored mind you.

Can workers/police/paramedics have their own park entrance where they appear from (rabbit hole) so we can design backstage's?

Can the AI simulate an attempt to ride most of the rides before leaving as most IRL park visitors do?

Can the game track how long employees have worked and retire/quit at appropriate times? 4 year college grad and aging out for old age hirees.

Can we manage our employee benefits to affect turnover rates?

Can you give a hint on employee's AI plans? (bathroom breaks/smoke breaks/efficiency)

Can we have security search at the gates? Don't ever bring in outside food!!

Can supervisors be a thing?

Can customer service be a thing? IRL people complain all the time to get free passes and woe is me/ outright lie to get free stuff.

Will on ride photo's be coming to PCoaster?

Can a new name + new paint and theme be used to temporarily fool the public like parks do near me via false advertising?

Will there be a ghost train while building track?

Will there be indicators as your building to the level of `intensity/nas/excite` on the tracks (toggle-able) to speed good coaster building?

Will flat ride footprints be fluid or static? Basically an ability to not have unchangeable flatride platforms everywhere. (octagon/triangle/circle/etc)

Any plans to have holiday seasonal type gameplay?

Will busy and slow days be able to be simulated?

Will events such as work picnics be able to be simulated with a designated area? (influx of people for a random set time causing long waits)

WHEW, I do not expect any to be answered but I am super curious about AI since after the construction dust has settled I love to follow people through an entire park visit to see my parks so I am more focused on certain parts and so far love the alpha I have seen. Thanks!
 
* Will we get ability to let the path stuff like benches, lamps, fences etc snap to the path and also in perpendicular (spelling?) way, that is, if I want two lamps on both sides, enable to it to be perfect at each sides, facing each other.

* will we be able to recolor anything like in RCT1+2, for example flowers in the flowerbeds, both the door and the wall on the wall set? Multiple recolors per object that is. I know this needs much work with the textures on beforehand (EA's blame at Sims 4, not gonna work because have to rework everything already made) so with asking this now, maybe you will consider it? (instead for whining later on when game released, hahaa)

Will guests be able to use picnic benches placed off the paths, Picnic areas for example?

I would love the create grass areas where guests can sit and eat lunch, this would be so realistic!
