Yeah the customization of signs was just thrown in there for a surprise :)
That definitely must mean that we can import our own images or that we get some sort of in-game editor to choose what sort of sign we want and type on that.
 
okay that literally just blew me away. everything from the reflections to the way the trees sway in the wind just blew me away!! [woah][shocked]
 
perhaps the voxel way?
create your sign as 2D frontview and ingame it will be cutout by alpha and giving depht?

like the Minecraft items :)

Amazing footage and livestream. Still a lot of questions to answer, but amazing time watching it. The most important remaining question:
Will real UGC be supported (and not just blueprints)? Let's hope they will be able to answer this soon.

I'm sooooo excited about what I saw. You guys are amazing and thank you for all the hard work you've put into this game. As for the unanswered questions, I literally don't care. My trust in Frontier was earned after this. I believe overall it'll be an awesome game. Just bought my VIP Ticket so I can have my character in the game [big grin]

Maybe this pay day I'll buy the pre-order. [up]

I know i should not say this, but its "funny" to see the difference in atmosphere over here when you compare to the forums of "the other" game.

It seems with every video or screenshot we get hyped more, and it seems like Frontier has been really listening to "us" what we think is important.
Up untill now i really can't find anything negative to say.

(ok ok, just small things... custom content and custom music, those 2 "need" to get confirmed)

Last but not least, after all the talk about curved path's, have we already seen straight path's? with 90degree angles?
 
The stream was great. I can't believe just how much attention has been paid to even the smallest of details. You can tell that so much hard work has been put into this game.
 
I think I see a plaza at last - but it's in the park walk-through bit, and with the camera so low it could simply be a large intersection of paths?

The path editor is quite versatile in how you make it all work. You've the ability to widen or condense the path sizes, lots of curvature and tilt control, in addition to length control. [happy]
