Speculation: Alpha 3 live streams and date

Relaxxxxxxxxxxx, it will come when it's ready and they're happy to announce a final date. Giving indications of when it may or may not be released could just end up in disappointment if it were to be delayed for example. If it's not finished why would they give a date out? Does seem as if the good news will be coming imminently though so fingers crossed [hehe]

I read the email as people who have brought Alpha will only be able to play it until just before Beta?! Does that mean that we then have to purchase Beta or is badly written?

No, it means that sales stop on August 25th.
If you have the alpha, you can play it until beta release (I guess after this they will release the beta and we will be able to play it too).
But past August 25th no one will be able to buy the alpha. Only the ones who own it until then will be able to play.

The Early Bird contains access to Alpha, Beta and release without having to pay again from what I understood, so I think that part is just badly written.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. Frontier wasn't joking. Exactly eight weeks- Today is Tuesday, and I get the alpha 3 email. Now I can prove that Bret is very trustworthy :)

I got an email today from frontier. Alpha 3 will release August 23. It is kinda a big gap between when Alpha 2 came out and when Alpha 3 comes out. I really want water not fake water. Security staff would be cool but it makes my gameplay easier when all my peeps behave well.

ANy Famous Wooden Coaster my version does not have a coaster that lays out wooden tracks.

In the coming weeks. I'll leave it up to Ed or Zac to spill the beans on exact days. [tongue]

Yep the three following either Tuesdays or Wednesdays would make sense based on release and 'X' weeks before release. I am away 20th to 27th August so will mean any small issues/bugs should be ironed out and will likely be on Alpha 3.1 to 3.3 by time I am on so look forward to reading through everything then [big grin]
