Wow.. 40 is what they have now with many many more to come...that sounds very promising!

Altough i wonder how they count coasters? Is every tracktype a coaster? or every coaster car type?... How is it counted?

No, we haven't seem them yet.

But like it wa said, there is many more to come so there's a good chance they might still come.

Wow. I never noticed how many flat rides they have shown us so far! I'm not sure if the ones in the trailer count though. I remember the trailer. The trailer was absolutely amazing!!![yesnod][yesnod][yesnod]

I doubt the alpha will have 40 though... they're- most likely- still working on them.
We'll probably get those 12ish (don't feel like counting) and a few coasters.

Read the statement from developer Sam denney again then. He did not said there are 40 rides in the game at this point. He said there are 40 rides in the game WHICH ARE AT A VERY HIGH STANDARD at this point.
So yes I definitely think there will be at least 40 rides in the first early bird version.
But they count flat rides and coasters together in this.

We have 19 -confirmed- flatrides so far :)

Sam denny said they have around 40 flatrides/coasters so far so it's fair to assume there are a few unrevealed flatrides left.

He said, that is what they have right now, but that doesn't mean they will all be in the early bird from day one. I can imagine some may need some twists and turns before they get released so i dont think the 40 tell's us anything about what we get when the early bird gets released. I do expect we will have 40-ish rides/coasters within the not too distant future.

More importantly he stated MANY more are planned, so the final number for the game release will be quite a lot higher.

The robot claw ride is actually based on a ride of Huss called "Jump²". It was also included in RCT3.

The ride you call SoundMachine is called Star Shape from the ride manufacturer Zierer.

However, I'm not sure if rides you see from early stages as the trailer or first 3d-modelling will be there. Some rides might only have been there for the trailer and could have been eliminated in the development to make place for other rides.

I still hope that they will come up with a good, normal top spin with a very good rideprogram (still hoping for the Suspended version, but the classic one with floor seems more popular unfortunately).
Speaking of rideprograms, I hope that PlanetCoaster could give more info about the rideprograms/animations for the flatrides. It would be ver awesome if you would have a choice between several rideprograms for different flatrides, or beter, create an own rideprogram. Especially for rides like TopSpins or that Jump² ride.

Top spins with good physics would be one of the most fun things to program!!!! trying to get it to balance upside down for a while! I love how Phantasialand's has that awesome section of long hangtime.

i guess in the public first access we are limited to a few good working flatrides and will continuisly gain more every week. They dont have to show us all that is there by now, but will improve those ones, they are working with.

Just updated the page, added only 1 ride after the livestream and thats the "S&S Screamin Swing".

But i also added a picture of the Giant Swing so now it has 2 pictures. I am wondering however, the base of the game has another texture ?? So was it just updated? Is it customisable? Or is it a complete different ride?

The one glaring omission I noticed on all the flat rides, at least from the most recent live stream: none of the flats had operating booths. Seems like a pretty basic inclusion, especially if the game will have staff management of some sort. Ride operators should be there, yes? Even if not operators on staff, at least the booths. Takes away a bit of the immersion without them. Though they all look fantastic, really.

I honestly am not too big of a fan of this carousel... Sure the artwork looks nice, but I think the very small upper section and how tall it looks compared to it's radius seems odd. I hope there is more of a traditional grand carousel.

I 50% agree [big grin]

Yes we also need a big "grand" carousel with a nostalgic look if it's up to me.
but i also love this smaller one :)
