I want to buy Planet Coaster, but I missed the edition I wanted.

I would love to purchase Planet Coaster, but I can't currently bring myself to do it. I would like to make the suggestion that you bring back the Thrill Seeker edition as a premium purchase. I don't mind waiting a period of time to purchase it and I also don't mind paying $10 or more extra for the chance to get this edition, but until the content in that edition is made available somehow, I will just be an onlooker and not a customer.

Thrillseeker included a golden king coaster entertainer you can hire in game, and a hat for your in-game avatar. the soundtrack can be found on youtube. it was just a way of saying thank you for being an alpha or pre-order customer

Really not missing out on anything being honest.

I think the games value is a bit low. I think it has enough content for a 30 dollar game. Even with the thrillseeker stuff. If its to pricy, wait for a steam sale (if frontier partakes)

I understand all this and I still stand by what I said. I would gladly support them by paying extra for the content and even waiting a period of time so preorder customers can get their full snowflake experience, but missing out on timed/exclusive content is just a big problem for me.

Send an email to customer service at Frontier Devs or something. Maybe for an extra charge, they'll give you that edition.

The artbook however seems unavailable, and it's pretty ❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎ good...
I feel the thrillseeker dlc should be put back on sale, tbh.

The King Coaster Deluxe entertainer just seems like a re-skinned version of the King Coaster entertainer. So it's not even that unique.

My advice is the breathe... and let go. Not everything in life has to be obtained. Pick your battles wisely :)

I don't know you and I am sure you are a nice person, but this post makes you sound like a spoiled brat. The thrill seeker edition was available for a decent amount of time and you didn't take advantage of that. You and you alone are to blame for missing the boat. Holding Frontier responsible for your mistake is a very immature thing to do.

I knew this post would generate all of the above replies, but it's a suggestion to the devs for how they could get my money. Not for you to judge or comment on how I spend my money. You should maybe take a step back and reconsider why you're calling someone immature for making a request to the developers that would actually entice me to support them with a purchase. Rather than come in here and tell me how the thrill seeker content is worthless, or how I'm wrong for wanting to buy a complete game; Don't you agree that they'd rather hear my voice and possibly gain a customer; than for me to say nothing and just never buy the game?

In my opinion the Thrillseeker Edition was offered as a reward for those people who had enough faith in the game and/or the developers to pre-purchase before release. You either didn't have enough faith in the game/developers to pre-order (in which case that is entirely your own fault and you shouldn't expect the rewards now that you have seen the reviews and realise the game is good) or you didn't know about the game until after it was already released (in which case I sympathise, but still don't think Frontier need to give you any special treatment in order to buy their game).

You can win a Steam key for the Thrillseeker edition on the special charity livestream of Frontier (by donating to the charity you automatically enter the competition). There's no other way for you to get acces to it.

Thanks, I actually didn't know about that. I guess I will just donate to SpecialEffect the money I was going to spend on Planet Coaster and if I win, cool. If not, I guess I just won't be playing Planet Coaster.

You aren't "enticing" Frontier, you are threatening them. You are saying give me what I want or I wont buy your product. That is the millennial way of saying, "let me win or I am going to take my ball and go home."

Grow up and accept your consequences big and small. This one is a small one. Learn from it and move on.

"I would like to buy your product if it came with the soundtrack and an artbook at an extra price" is hardly a threat, come on...

The entitlement bashers these days are also getting out of hand.

This entire thing is a request that will likely be ignored, but not without merit.

There is some content that new customers can no longer obtain, and it wouldn't really hurt anyone if they could.

Selling them at an extra would also provide more income to frontier to continue development on the title.

Please don't act too harsh on this, really...

It kinda defeats the purpose of the edition though, like everyones saying. This was a thank you to all the early backers of the game some time ago.

Not to mention, if your reasoning for not buying a game is because you have a gold skin, So I want it too or else I'm not buying. That's a child's way of thinking.

Not to mention, the skin is actually on the web and if you knew how to hunt down files (which is easy anyway) you can just download the skin and drop it into the folder it belongs. Boom done....

So I guess if you ask nicely and have a really really good reasons "limited edition" versions of games should never be limited?

Zmego, I'm sorry if my request somehow hurts you that you have to come into my thread and lash out at me, but I can assure you that calling me names and insulting me isn't going to change a single thing. If it's really so offensive to you then I suggest you simply back out of this thread.

I'd like to know why and/or the thinking of how the game isn't worth buying now, because it doesn't offer a golden skin for an entertainer?
