General / Off-Topic 3D Printed models

If you can clear copyright with Frontier I'd love to buy some Planet Coaster figures off you. I really can't say how impressed I am 😊

Like mentioned before, I'm not interested in selling Planet Coaster figurines ;)
I'm interested in having Frontier selling them theirselves (either using Shapeways or another 3rd party).

They have the files, it wouldn't make sense for me to re model what they already have! :p

You're absolutely right, but those Worms and Kerbal models are just soo good, It kinda makes me go gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme-gimme!!!!!!!

I'm sure you'll like this one too:

It's a figurine that is printed with interlocking parts, so basically you can move the parts right after printing without the need to assemble them.

WOW!

I can just imagine people who make model villages and things buying packs of these in varying colours and bodytypes. With them being posable, it would give so much variety to model crowds. I want your job lol. [wink]

Thought you all would like to see this.

This is being 3D printed as we speak and will be 75cm long (+-250euro to print).

A quick start on the wheels:

Keep in mind that this is going to 3D printed which is fine it's not super detailed (basically cause of the limitations in this size that some stuff needs to be thicker)

Will keep you all posted

Will the train be a separate print? So you can place it on the track and it roll along it? Or will it be printed on the track and static?

I just built a Boomerang coaster in PC and would love to see it + the Theming printed... Would be epic to say the least!

(Link is to my, as of yet, un named park thread and a little ways down shows the coaster...)
