Planet Coaster Livestream: Q&A With Lead Artist (and rides expert) Sam Denney- Your Questions Needed

Really looking forward to the Live Stream!!

Here are 4 questions:

1) Will there be interactive rides where we´ll have some kind of control in first person mode? For example go-karts, bumpers cars or rowboats.
2) Most theme parks don´t charge extra money for the rides. So, can we get rid of ticket booths if we don´t want them, and will it be possible to manage a profitable park with just the main entrance fee, food stalls and souvenirs.
3) Will guests rate rides just based on excitement, intensity and nausea? I feel like some visitors should lean more towards certain kinds of rides. That way a coaster and a flatride with the same excitement rating would still offer something different if more people prefered coasters in general.
4) Finally, I´d also be happy if you could talk about the ride programs and possible modular features. Can we exchange certain parts of a flatride - like the cars or decorative elements, for example.

Thanks!

Hello,

I'm sure we have not seen all the flat rides in the game. Can you tell us what other flat rides you are working on at the moment? There are a few rides I would like to see.Have you also thought about midway games (ring toss, toss a softball into a milk can)

Tilt A Whirl
Swinging Chairs
A Parachue Drop (Knotts Berry Farm)
Paratropper
Round Up

I'm just going to watch the live stream without asking any questions this time, as what I wanted to know, have been asked already. But if this stream is anything like the last stream, I doubt many questions will really get answered. So I am hoping to see more of the in game development like we saw last time and some new artwork of some of the transport and flat rides and listen to what Sam has to say.

1. Water rides?
2. Can we add scenery directly to a flat ride?
3. What rides will be included in both the finished game and early access?

So after silently following this forum for quite some time, last weeks stream was so much fun I decided need to be part of this awesome community! You guys got me all excited for this game!!! My question is simple, but I'm so curious as to what you guys think about it.

What is the feature regarding rides you want us to experience the most when we start playing the alpha?

Thanks in advance and see you guys tonight! Lets see if they can read the live chat trough our cheering this week ;)!

Will there be skins for the flat rides so each flat rides would fit in in all themes. Such as a generic, pirate, fairy tale and sci-fi merry go round?

What transport rides are there going to be?

Is it possible to place flat rides vertically (not on the ground) and if so are the stilts still there?

Are there any non ride amusements such as shows?

How many flat rides are there for early access and around how many are planned for launch?

Hey Everyone At Frontier! [hehe]

What all do we have in our hands with the rides? -
Can we upgrade them like in previous editions to alter the number of cars etc.?
Change their colors?
In how many themes and categories would the rides by classified into?
What impact different rides would have on the Peeps moods and behaviour?
Ride Queue lengths/Queue times? Breakdown and maintenance times and animations?
Entry Exit customization?
And how about individual Souvenir stalls for few rides on the exit?

Are flatrides 360° turnable, just like the scenery pieces as we've seen in the first livestream?

Will these rides come with standard fencing, or can you do this yourself, so the flatrides won't look like square spaces of concrete, but you can actually make your rides unique?

This thread could have been more focused from the start if they told us by ride questions they meant flat rides lol

As this live stream is to be focused on the flat rides, I am hoping we will be shown some close up views of all the rides that will be in the Early Release. I am particularly interested in the Swinging Ferris Wheel, for some close up of the swinging cars. Another ride we haven't yet seen in game, is the Zipper, we have only seen concept art of this ride.

A look at the Connie Express would be a bonus, if it is ready for showing. I was just wondering why we are not going to see much on Coaster's. Maybe they are still working on these and we will only get the one we have already seen, for the Early Release. [rolleyes]

I presume they'll have a live stream that focuses solely on coasters. There'd be too much to get through in a single stream if both flatrides and coasters were being showcased.

They said on last week's stream that the park in the vids was created that day... I wonder, I hope that a new park would be created today to show of the rides this evening.

I can only ask?

It's human nature to want more... and more... and a little bit more.!

Isn't it?

A more general question: will there be clearly laid out settings available to help run Planet Coaster on a PC with a less-than-impressive processor speed? The game seems like it will be quite intensive in terms of CPU.
