Shame on you fdev

What are white knights? People who defend someone or something and never offer any criticism. That a good definition? Well, i'm sorry to dissapoint you on this, because i'm not aware of a single person who matches that description on this forum. Maybe they exist, but they are so few in number they don't register.

So its bit hard to go blaming an insignificant minority on the quality of work produced by the devs.

And really, please, take another look at what you wrote, because you are effectively saying anyone who disagrees with you is wrong to do so. You label anyone who would defend it as being on the wrong side.

Denying the kits are low effort overpriced stuff is a perfect example of white knight mentality. I disagree with anyone who disagrees with me on this topic because they are part of the reason why ED is not as good as it should be.

It really, really is.

I appreciate you've got a tub to thump and a hill to die on, but it's getting a bit silly now.

Very kind of you.

It is a wrong mentality regarding how the game is developed, and it has been going for years. It is not a minor issue.

Has anyone actually done that? The thing is, I actually agree that the kits are pricey and some of them are of low quality. But your attitude makes me want to actually buy one.

Go ahead, let them know they can sell anything to you.

I never really got why the white knights hate the term..
It's an attempt to pre-emptively diminish the (valid or otherwise) comments of those a poster expects will disagree with their comment.

It's very simple really. I'm going to criticise X, I will launch a pre-emptive strike in my critical post dismissing any counter arguments by lumping them all under a pejorative term. Other them.

The same could reasonably be said about dismissing critics as "haters", btw.

Do you think Frontier will make any changes to what they do based on your thread?

Probably not, since the community does not help much in sending the message that they should avoid sloppy jobs because we buy anything they throw.

Or do hyperbolic accusations of 'shameful' practices lead to further ignoring of the nonsense froth in the official forum by the devs, who I think are much more likely to find insteresting constructive communities elsewhere discussing their game?

So once again you're back to telling people what they should or should not buy.

My advice would be to stop doing that.

no hyperbole, no accusations. You really are jumpy. I simply speak my mind. My criticism is very constructive.

You are conflating 2 different things, and it's hilarious.

1) a developer seeing falling sales of a line of products, then potentially changing their output after investigation

2) a random throwing insults in a thread that the devs won't read
