I was in a 'War' system the other day and kept locking on to 'Unidentified Signal Sources' and more often than not they resolved into HGE's one after the other, after the other..ad nauseum... temere impositum... as they say in latin land

Joking aside, I've a pile of ships needing proto heat radiators and I haven't found one since December. Great to hear, although the pessimist in me is expecting this to be a couple of cases of good luck. Really hope I'm wrong.

Found a few Sunday. The individual faction HGE is still an annoyance. Outbreak system but the HGE belongs to a faction with a state of none or boom. Of course I harvested them but still :mad:

Best I've managed is 3 in 1 system.

All were 7,000ls from entry, in different directions, and only 1 had more than 3 minutes on the clock. Lol

All contained stuff I didn't really need. Useful for trading, but I'd rather spend my time finding what I want, than just trading any old crap.

To this day, I've still never found a military super capacitor... Lol

I used to find T-10s in comp nav beacons which would provide a decent supply of G5 mats. You could relog and do pretty well as long as that ship was there.

The only problem I'm having with HGEs is I'm swimming in Core Dynamics Composites but anything else is hard to come by. Could be a matter of finding the right system, dunno, but randomly scanning systems as I'm going about my business, this is what I constantly bump into. I've pretty much stopped chasing HGEs for now and instead hoover RES garbage as my main source for manufactured mats.

I found 4 in Bunda, 1 in Aeneas.
Only with Core Dynamics Composites and Proto Radiolic Alloys.
But i haven't seen HGS for almost two weeks.

How could this thread have gone thru 20 posts without someone contributing the obligatory, ubiquitous, "Nonsense! I managed to find find an HGE with just five hours of searching last week. And while it didn't drop the materials I needed and was searching for (and should have received, given the faction state), I was able to trade those nine mats I didn't want for 1 of the kind I needed! And I still had 3 unneeded mats left over! Win win! So, all is working as it should be, and as designed, ya buncha complainers!" ;)
