Would love to see MkII models of the older ships.
A bit more speed here, more powerful thrusters there, better base jump range.
Reduce the weight of modules (I'm looking at you, large ship sensors!!).
Would be something that you would think actually would happen, considering somebody previously figured out interstellar travel.

I'd love to see one or two new ships before 2020 - but I would also like to think that Frontier's artists are working flat out making assets for whatever's coming next.
I suspect our best hope for the interim is that there's some ship, almost complete, that got shelved for whatever reason but can now be dusted off and given to us.

There is a dearth of ships with 6 utility slots; I'd like to see some biggish medium ships with more utilities.
A couple small ships with more utilities would be interesting also. Would have to be balanced by weak hard points or something.
The the ability to load up fighter bays with REAL small ships and not fighter versions would be awesome too. Yeah, I know I'm just dreaming now...
