I had the same error yesterday here in the UK. Started the game today (Monday) and was told I needed a new version of the launcher. Downloaded it, installed it and pressed play. Now I can only play the base game, no Horizons. I'm not on Steam. Help anyone???

Didnt informed me about launcher update - there is no play button now.

EDIT: it finally did and now waiting for verification email.
