Class 6,7 and 8 Guardian FSD boosters.

Guardian FSD boosters

Class 6: 20ly
Cost: 1 billion

Class 7: 40ly
Cost: 2 billion

Class 8: 80ly
Cost: 4 billion

Explorers could ditch the Anaconda for a Type-9. Just don't fly into a star or crash on a planet as the re-buy cost will make your eyes water.

Ridiculously overpowered. If a class 8 existed... it shouldn't do more than 20ly.

That's why I suggested 80ly. If I started with a class 8 at 20ly, people would be complaining it's overpowered. I've come to learn that some in the community are anti-jump range increase, so was compensating for that ;)

-edit-
Although I'd be perfectly happy if FDev gave us a 80ly class 8 FSD booster :D

I have to say no. It will make the size of the galaxy smaller all because people are unwilling to enjoy the vastness of the game. Oh, The 4 billion. If I can start from a Sidewinder penniless to Elite Trader in one day making A billion credits. Woopie on 4 billion an Engineered Type 9. I could make 4 Billion in one trip.

You're not forced to use it, but you don't want other people to have a chance to. Flies in the face of your base building posts.

Why don't you click on the video on my Signature. You can get to Colonia in 107 jumps from sol using Neutron stars. But you have to be skilled and use common sense to use it Instead of asking for an easy mode. Let's use the video to help people understand how easy it is to move across the Galaxy right now.

First you say you are an Explorer on your first post. But let look at your current post.

Two hours of copy and pasting and pressing the jump key. That's fun game play. That's worse than easy mode, it's boring mode.
Now you contradict your self. See a Real explorer EXPLORES STARS. What you are watching is the Buckyball race. So getting to Colonia fast as possible to win107 jumps. But The same skill can be used to get to Point A to B fast while Exploring. Which show why we don't need your idea. Because the same Mechanic use in Buckyball Race can be used by REAL Explorers. To Jump 300% their distance. Hence why Your idea is not needed.

If you are in Colonia just self destruct in a Sidewinder and be sent in the bubble.

I wouldn't pay 4Bn for an 80ly range.

Most explorers don't want to skip over that much space anyway.
I think you mean to make travellers more comfortable.

In any case, as Lestat said, it's only 107~ jumps to Colonia, using neutron stars which are high risk, and kinda fun.

I wish they was in game when I went to Sagittarius A*. I took my lowly 23.5ly ranged Python back then!
1500 jumps (because I took a small detour)!

You enjoy the repetitive jumping, many do not. You're entitled to your option, I'd prefer a one jump to any star exploration drive. But I don't ask for because it will break the game. Passenger missions and other mechanics are tied in to the travel time grind.

Agree on the High Risk and fun

Wow long Range 23.5ly. My Barebone Anaconda Had 17ly Jump range. Went to Sagittarius A* and Colonia. I was glad I had a secondary account at the time.

So you are just proving your self YOU Bob McBobblehead is not a REAL explorer. See We don't repetitive Jump. We Jump to a system explore the whole system and move on. Some time we see it. Look at it with it one star and go woopie do and jump to the next system Because their nothing to see at that system. That is the closes we get to Repetivive jumping we get. Other wise we explore 5 to 25+ Bodies in a System. Which takes time. That is what a TRUE Explorere dose.
