While I'm aware that I'm rather late to this thread... This response made me laugh. What you are doing is simply wasting your time by reporting people that are not breaking any rules and hence will not receive any punishments (not that I believe these often happen anyway, if at all). Still, if you find it fun to do that for 20 minutes instead of playing your game, that's great! As you say, play it your way.

FD have been at this for five years and yet we have basically little/no PvP of any worth being orchestrated, and mindless destruction and ganking all but ignored... So yes, Mobius!
Look i was heated when i posted my previous posts.
The only ones i report are the ones who repeatedly target me and attack everytime they see me, toss me friend requests just to hunt me down ( which once i figured them out removed them from friends hell i cleared my whole friends list because of this).
Repeated tickets about said individuals and requests for a name change ( too much grind and time invested not gonna clear and start over ) but nothing is happening on either front which is disappointing.
I love the game and the community is awesome ( minus a few bad apples ).
But in all honesty the PvP aspect of the game needs a rework with just a few touches for balance and ( here we go trolls heres your breakfast ) fairness for new players, and pve players who want to fly in open and interact with others and stand a fighting chance.

Any player can, through skill in flying and outfitting, get to a point where they are relatively safe in the game. Can they go toe to toe with a dedicated combat pilot? Probably not. Can they survive on the regular? Absolutely.
Is it just people having a problem with running away? It’s not bad. Often it’s very smart!
Very true Phisto and i am finally at that point after 1200 hrs in game.
I can now run away or fight ( will run refuse to be a free kill anymore ) still working on my engineering and flying skill. But whatever, ill just do my thing in pg and solo and my mission will be to take the anarchy systems that you all love and care for and turn the into fed or imp space ( no alliance dang bug lovers ).
Because those are the tools fdev gave me in game, im gonna use them so keep an eye on your home systems folks, i did it to Bunda ( im sure there were others as well helping).

That sounds so much fun. Except for the premium ammo meta part, the stream sniping part, the part where you seem relieved there was no cheating and the abysmal amount of grind fully engineering a frag mamba represents.

I'm willing to bet that those players are repeatedly targeting you because you probably sent them a nasty message. We have no sympathy for you.

I guess it depends on what you're motivation for going there is, to me. If you go because you know folks like Aashenfox and Krash will fight you there and are looking forward to those fights, then you aren't in the demographic I was referring too. If you go because you want to find new players who are just starting to even unlock engineers in order to blow people up with no risk to yourself...then you are who I was referring to.

You answered the question then. You go to fight other PvPrs. Your choice of targets to goad them to the fight is just the setup, not the gameplay you are after. Sounds like a little RP is involved as well, and that's also a totally different thing.
You know as well as I do though that some folks gank simply because they can't win a fight against another real PvP player and Deciat is a great system for that, because players just starting out with engineering will be the main people visiting Felicity. Once you have played longer and have all the engineers unlocked Felicity doesn't make the short list of engineers to visit unless you just happen to be near her base.
Of the hundreds of gankers that I know, I don't know a single guy that would run from a legit PvP fight. I think the players you're describing are boogymen that you and many others have created.
I couldn't win a fight against a real PvP'er, so I gank NPC's in my Courier... I'm a real heel!
Hundreds of gankers cant get their agendas to make legit pvp happen neither. Darth Vadder cant run a doodle with Han Solo, lets murder Ewoks.
