No. Feedback is welcome. I just have an issue with 18 users (or 21 now apparently) posting in the name of the “community” I am supposed to be part of and requesting signatures in an obscure and non actually traceable site.
If that is the main way you choose to offer "feedback" I personally much rather you opt to simply take the simple and honest advice offfered above instead and stop spending in the product. I can assure you that kind of message will actually be much more clearly received and much more proactively actioned by the concerned company than the one in this OP. And above all, it will indeed show FDEV an exact, extremely specific and measurable picture of this community.

Community is a troubled word to begin with. It is overused and abused so much that it has basically lost all meaning.
The truth of that matter is this petition is a good faith attempt to prompt positive change to Elite Dangerous. Also the response on the ED subreddit and on these forums has been really strong and it obvious that more than a few dozen people support this. Thousands support this. I certainly do.
Look, It doesn’t help anybody to get hung up on pedantry when the attention should be focused on Frontier and how they respond to this very reasonable request for improvements.
They don't represent me neither. I don't share their feelings.

Well, Arx to win, if it worked. Its a bit buggy right now.
People who want longer range fit the higher grades. I fit B rated when i make a high integrity build. E is default, cheapo option, its there to be upgraded. C is for when you want a blend of range and integrity. A is great for tracking down enemies in RES and CZ when you get dragged far out. I like fitting A on my combat ships.
You don't share their issues?
and 21? I'm not sure where you're getting that number.
OA posted some text about it on his youtube channel yesterday and last I checked it had over 900 likes with zero dislikes.
EDIT: Because dislikes don't show per this guy.
But YOU, you're saying none of these things ring true for you and you're perfectly happy with the way FDev has been managing things? Okay.

Believe it or not, I am afraid this thread is all about the OP. I really hope they can also take criticism and feedback on board. If they did not want to be exposed to that then they should have followed a more direct and private channel with FDEV.

Which is all pointless with engineering, with the differences between the modules themselves being equally basic beyond weight. Grades outside A and D have no role due to MRPs, and unless you run a hull tank (which is impractical due to balancing and other issues) there is no point if you have 10K shields- your hull will die before your sensors pack in, and you'll be off before they ever dropped.
Every module should have ways to increase the depth to the game and yet your argument is that because its too hard, it should not be done.
I have signed as I agree with large parts of what had been written (though not all by any means - my main bugbear is the dearth of genuine, meaningful communication about development both currentand future).
To those of us for whom this petition does not speak, all you are asked is to sign if you agree. The number of signatures is the measure if support for this initiative, not the names on the letter and by not signing you are indicating that this initiative does not represent you.
If you don't agree and want to state why then sure, go ahead. This is supposed to be a place of adult discussion after all. But please do not denigrate or attack those who think differently about this game we all love. We are perfectly entitled to have opinions and to voice those opinions. We are also entitled to canvas support for those opinions and to make suggestions to Frontier about possible solutions to issues we have with the game. We are not whining or entitled; we have concerns and want to voice them.
