But thats the point- B rated offers nothing that makes a noticeable difference other than (9?) integrity for a Beluga. Unless you intend to take specific module damage, its not doing anything. I do huge amounts of risky PvE doing sec murder and dodging ATR- I do it in almost stock Clippers that I burn, and I can fit E sensors and its the same outcome (other than cost in bounties) as if I'd fitted A BC or D. It makes no difference to my gimbals at all when fighting security it should.

We are probably both right. As someone who plays PvE without meta builds my Missile / MC Mamba is completely ineffective. It would be way more fun if these missiles actually did anything apart from exploding.
From a PvP perspective it probably looks completely different.

As for hull damage, it happend. B rated shields with armoured engineering. I could tank quite a bit.
I remember being in a fight against a dangerous Python, my shields dropped, and it unloaded volley after volley of missiles at me. Didn't lose a single module, everything kept working just fine.
That's the beauty of high integrity.
Note to self, do another one like that, was good fun.

Which is why I'm really confused about your point regarding the removal of Solo/PG... like.. at face value I like that idea.. but it's not been brought up by me in this thread because it's not at all been mentioned in the OP/Petition.

Fair enough- but don't artificially limit choice because you have to think a bit more about your build. It should extend beyond five letters and provide greater fidelity to your design.

What, lets compare:
Gimbals and whatever sensor you like because it makes no difference
Gimbals, think about sensor grade balance trading power, weight, range for better gimbal performance and / or EW resistance
But then most NPCs are pathetic anyway, so I suppose it does not matter.
You just said that everything in the petition is detailed and with proposed solutions. What are the details for the 'long standing issues' of the game? There are none. So all I can do is to look at who initiated the petition and take a guess from there. Looks like you didn't read it either.
Like i said, for me personally, tying gimballs to sensors would be worse.
