I, for one, like these cube overlords. Are the prophecies true? Has giant star cubes finally been fixed?
I think that you will be happier than the cube deniers. Fear the Cube Lords!I, for one, like these cube overlords.
I seems to me that they're in bug-fix mode. They have no work to do other than to comb through the list looking for stuff to fix. The bigger the patch notes, the better. This is good for us, because it means that all of those simple bugs that have been sitting around for months while there was more important work to be getting on with, are getting fixed. Rest assured that the harder bugs that take more work are also being worked on, it might just take longer than one week to fix them.So ... I guess from this we are expecting yet more hyperdictions? or else this is a really random bug to fix as it has such an easy workaround![]()
I hope not - when they fix stuff they break other stuff. Normally they don't add old bugs this late - what with this probably being the last patch for 'September'.I seems to me that they're in bug-fix mode. Yes I agree. I do not like being forced to do something that I do not want....never?
I'm not playing the game at the moment and I do not intend to launch it just to see what's new in the store. A normal website is like... too much of common sense for FDEV?
I doubt that the 500 people are developers.Yet FD has 500 people to cherry pick from and still can’t fix bugs from 5yrs ago, let alone 2 weeks ago.
According to the latest information from Frontier, 100 people work on ED.Do not you think it is a bit unreal that statement of distribution of employees that you do?
I do not think that Frontier has published how many are dedicated and that not even that the distribution of developers is equitable as you propose?
The 500 eat cake. Developers eat cake. Therefore the 500 are developers. QED.I doubt that the 500 people are developers.
In case you missed it https://forums.frontier.co.uk/threads/september-update-patch-2.524855/post-8053597 (you are still waiting thoughthanks FD... still waiting for the Xbox screen tearing fix too...
That's a fair point, and I am on record as saying that FDev appear to need to drag their QA into the 21st century.
But in my case, customers had been promised this feature months ago, and they were screaming for it. It wasn't them that found it, they weren't unable to use any existing features, but they were still hurting.
..... - what with this probably being the last patch for 'September'.
lol yeah - someone always says that. Nothing major outstandingI really, really, REALLY hope not; They can spend the next 3 months doing nothing but bug fix as far as I'm concerned, as well as using the time to balance out the Art per hour earned discrepancies.
